17/1/2025 10:45 | Tell you what Spooky, that was a damn good effort at clearing sellers. We all know how much they rule the roost, but exchanges finished just shy of 7m! They were flying in there to buy. As per most of the market, that could have been dribs and drabs - absolutely nothing, but they came in and gave it a good bash so fair play. The odd thing is you still sit there and just know that the release isn't going to happen yet. They mopped up notable blocks at 45.5p, 46.5p, 47p. Berenberg were on the offer and then someone came in and took three 250k blocks to get them moving abit. Berenberg are a notorious pain in the bee-hind to get moving. Yes, you Berenberg....ya big pain in the beeeeeeee-hind. I see you! But yeah, there are still some monster sell orders in the market (someone has picked up 118k @48p today and the price hasn't even batted an eyelid) so its a hold at worse, waiting to see if some whoppers go through to allow that release over 50p. I don't know who is making moves here: No holding rns of late but there are some right ole names in there. Barring some big clear out, the market seems content to just sit at these levels. You do wonder if this keeps happening, whether takeovers just keep coming and picking off the cheap companies over here at low ball premiums. Let's keep a watch. How about some bangers? Bangers to smash the sellers! Bangers and Smash! How long before that starts winding people up ha All imo DYOR 10:46 Oh actually, I think it is best to wait for the updates with these sorts of companies. I watched it have big exchanges a short while back, but couldn't consider a buy as the concern was too great on there being a profit warning. So at least now there is a window of opportunity to trade (if a move does eventually happen) before the next update. So similar to VLG and HVO, where the doubt is there on how the trading is going. Had a go, and exited if doesn't follow through with a price spike or CARD where you knew the update had happened but the market didn't follow through on the buying But there we go...the usual tah pence worth | sphere25
16/1/2025 08:52 | The shares look far too cheap to me. Just over 4 times EBITDA, cash generative, net cash,3%+ dividend yield, buying back shares. Facilisgroup probably worth most of the market cap by itself. There has been an active seller, perhaps todays volume has taken him out. Suspected he was bigger. | spooky
16/1/2025 08:31 | Taken a few PEBB to see if this has been overdone on the downside. There is an argument to say the market was expecting worse here and those numbers have surprised. Only about 4% growth forecast on the top line and 8% on pre-tax profit, so it is chugging along, but cash better than expected. An ex-cash profit multiple of 5.7 falling to 5 this year. A multiple like that of 5 and you still sit here and wonder if that has priced in all the gloom. But it looks worth an effort. Price is currently flat at 44p-46p. The price was flat before this update so you'd think it just stays flat if there is no enthusiasm to buy. It needs to break 46p for the possibility of a trading bounce. An exit if it goes stale. Will the market buy to allow a breakout? Oooer gavnar! All imo DYOR | sphere25

17/7/2024 19:41 | Well the share buy back has kept the share price from falling .uch below near to its 52 week low. It's hard to see where PEBB goes from here. Hope a PE buyer makes a bid. | seangwhite
07/6/2024 15:57 | The share buy back is not really helping maintain the share price and it looks like the market has no appetite for PEBB or it's outlook. | seangwhite
01/5/2024 18:41 | The poor Chairman seems to have been picked for the chop as major shareholders must be unhappy at the share price and lack lustre numbers from the Facilus part of PEBB | seangwhite
27/3/2024 08:26 | The Pebble Group (PEBB) Full Year Results 2023 - March 2024 Pebble Group CEO, Chris Lee and CFO, Claire Thomson present full year results for the year ended 31 December 2023, followed by Q&A. Watch the video here: Or listen to the podcast here: | tomps2
22/3/2024 21:42 | Good to see the market ignoring the fact that Facilus was the growth part of PEBB which has stumbled. | seangwhite
22/3/2024 13:05 | Lol seangwhite you were bullish on these all the way down, then turned bearish at the bottom. The more you talk the better the share price. | markirv
22/3/2024 08:55 | Facilus results are very disappointing for the driver of PEBB's growth and do not bode well for the PEBB share price looking a year or two ahead. The share buy back does seem a bit like a fairly desperate throw of the dice by the CEO and his team. | seangwhite
19/3/2024 07:20 | No suprises since their Mid Jan update. Increased dividend though by 100% | queenbreguet

11/3/2024 20:48 | PEBB seem to be in a downward trend and the business model has no real traction unlike FOUR it's peer. The CEO really needs to come up with plan B fairly quick if he wants to keep being so well rewarded. | seangwhite
19/2/2024 14:59 | Maybe time to start buying IMO | queenbreguet
29/11/2023 21:49 | Looks like PEBB has further to drop after the way ALT went down today. | seangwhite
22/11/2023 14:30 | If group revenue expectation for year was £140m but now £124m, the difference is that Brand Addition has been hit by a £15m reduction in second half expectations from £65m down to £51m. Will there be a recovery in 2024 from their Technology and Consumer clients? Pebble has always seemed to me (and the market) as a high quality stock so it is a shock that BA has taken this second half hit especially after the 5th Sep H1 results when the group expected to be "in line with market expectations" and BA growth was "underpinned by its diverse and loyal client base with investments into ESG and global capabilities further differentiating the business with its target market." I don't want to sell but PEBB must suffer a derating after disappointing the market. Quality companies shouldn't do this. | chasbas
22/11/2023 13:53 | Seems like the recent good write up the CEO got doesn't sit well with this update raising doubts on the previously upbeat business growth picture. | seangwhite
22/11/2023 10:41 | Trading Update Whilst we expect Facilisgroup to achieve revenue growth in the year, order intake at Brand Addition has been lower than anticipated and Group revenues for FY 23 are expected to be approximately £124m (FY 22: £134.0m). As the Group has continued to generate stronger gross margins in FY 23 compared to the prior year, the impact of the revenue reduction is expected to be partially mitigated, and deliver Group EBITDA of approximately £16m (FY 22: £18.0m), maintaining Group EBITDA margins close to FY 22. A 27% drop in share price? | petewy
29/10/2023 19:15 | Good write up for our CEO and may help stop the decline in the share price | seangwhite
