01/9/2014 10:48 | Good point Sky and I have sold the rest of my holding. | alanji
30/8/2014 17:10 | New solera very unlikely to be a bidder as otherwise surely they would have acted before someone came along and ate half their dinner! So if they have to stop buying then the short-term support is withdrawn and the share price is likely to drift; and I'm sure a few of us will be lining up to buy back in should they drift back to an acceptable level again... | skyship
29/8/2014 16:46 | New Solera up to 29.26% - not far to go!!!!!! | alanji
27/8/2014 17:36 | gfrae - you may well be right - have to disagree with your last passing comment however - LSR's small shop portfolio requires far more active management than a pension fund would have either time or expertise to dedicate... | skyship
27/8/2014 17:09 | Time is on LSR's side, gross revenues ie rents -interest = £4m p.a. I've forgotten what the management charge is but I assume less than £1m. £1m = approx 1pps. Therefore EPS of 3 pps. In addition according to latest update a hardening market. NAV at year end may be around 50pps. After recent sale the bank pressure is off and we now know that we can believe the figures. I would say for the patient there is quite a lot to go for. (It would also make an ideal property portfolio for a large pension fund). | gfrae
27/8/2014 16:22 | Personally I feel to justify the current level you have to assume the benefit of a near-term tender. Without that then they could well drift back a little should New Solera hold off a while - as they have done in the past. Still, I admit I've misread the end game here as I sold at an average of 37.5p! Mind you - I also got things slightly awry at the start and was caught out along with others when they kitchen-sinked the assets and the share price slumped to that absurd 26p. Fortunately I did average there - so all worked out well! Perhaps better to see what Tilts & Alan have to say with the sp now at 39.5p BID. | skyship
27/8/2014 16:06 | Thanks SKYSHIP for putting me on to these. Mine were bought in at 31p and sadly I didn't have the guts to add when they were at 26p. Question now is whether to keep holding, or cash in on the tasty 39.5p available. If it's a question of, say 45p at the end of 2016, then that would indicate a sale as things stand. | nk104
22/8/2014 15:44 | :)Things r looking better after beating the mighty Leeds lol | badtime
22/8/2014 15:32 | lol..you've been a bit quiet...normally want to talk football...can't think why not! 60 LXB is enough for the time being. | tiltonboy
22/8/2014 14:34 | Tilts how come u aren't buying som more LXB :) | badtime
22/8/2014 14:21 | Well done to all who held out longer than I did. I'm out totally at an average of 37p - a tad too early, but still well pleased. Reinvested within the sector into RLE, Tiltonboy's heads-up for LXB & a top-up in DSC. | skyship
22/8/2014 12:40 | To echo thanks to SKYSHIP - sold my final 50,000 at 39.03p. An excellent result from what, at first glance, may have appeared an unlikely investment. Garbetklb / InTheHighlands | garbetklb
21/8/2014 16:49 | looks like New Solara had your 100k tilton, they can have my small holding too for a little bit more. Thanks for this one SKY! Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
21/8/2014 16:10 | I'm staying aboard as, given a rising market, there has to be a fair chance that the remaining portfolio / company will attract a bid given the now manageable gearing. | topvest
21/8/2014 16:02 | Taken nearly a year, but thanks to SKYSHIP for this one. The final 100k have gone at 39p to make it an outstanding result. Might buy a few more MVI... | tiltonboy
21/8/2014 12:25 | Just checked share price and I could sell for 39.06. Think I'll give this another couple of weeks to see if a bidder emerges, otherwise I'll get out as I can't see more than a further 10% upside. | strathroyal
19/8/2014 22:00 | Story looks better than ever here, doesn't it? Can't see why these should be trading under NAV,now all uncertainty over viability has been removed.......and even an upbeat statement;anyone remember one of those? | gfrae
19/8/2014 15:48 | 430k on the bid at 38.5. | alanji
15/8/2014 14:32 | Happy to hold the balance after that statement, and look to buy back if they got to 33p. | tiltonboy
14/8/2014 14:13 | GLA. Out now at 37.5 and 38p. Would happily buy back in if we see 32/33p again but I suspect that it won't go down that far. | briggs1209
14/8/2014 11:36 | strathroyal, They have actually bought a few more than that, but it does look as if there was another decent sized buyer around. | tiltonboy
14/8/2014 10:41 | Oi Sky....posted same minute :) | badtime
14/8/2014 10:25 | NS have however only bought 100k yet the turnover over the last few days has been much higher so is someone else stake building? | strathroyal |
