Any competent auditor could have completely reaudited this group during period of suspension.
This board has shown its complete disregard for the majority of its shareholders.
We need to hear from chairman now.

The problem is the apparent dereliction of duty by le bas pension trustees.
This in effect gives burrows family control .

The silence is very concerning.The problem is no proper corporate advisors or governance.
The board has a surely compromised lawyer who can not be seen as independent advising the incumbents.
Who is looking out for non related shareholders.
Could see another court battle.

The statement makes it sound like things have improved and are quite strong overall. Have they had trouble meeting all the IFRS changes due to the mini-conglomerate structure? I had wondered what the effects might be, though I had not considered that they might not get accounts out in time.

What a dreadful statement. All too often pensioners are being subsidised by current working non pensioners,who often are being given less generous pensions.
The chairman gave no indication of when accounts would be published .

Tex should be taken out though number of suitable buyers reducing.Maybe best solution for burrows and co to offer say £1.25 and delist.After all is really a private plaything.

I got an attendance card and proxy form. 5 resolutions are to re-elect the oldest group of directors I have ever seen. A separate general meeting will be arranged for considering the accounts.

PLC companies are legally required to hold an AGM (ie. meeting of members) every 12 months even if there is no agenda.

Did you receive a Proxy Card or Notice of resultions in this instance ?
