18/9/2017 11:27 | Zangdook, that's what the arbitration will decide. There must be a reason for them to see this through. | casual47
18/9/2017 11:18 | ISTM they're in denial over the fact the Taj assets were forfeit when the bills weren't paid. Is there anything to exit from? | zangdook
18/9/2017 10:45 | I don't think they are in denial about Taj. Is there really anybody left who thinks TPL seriously wants Taj to be put into production? Even Total and the Chinese partner want to get out of it. As I see it: in the best case the arbitration delivers some upside for TPL, in the worst case they put the Taj subsidiary in administration and all that they will have lost is whatever they spent on legal fees and whatever it cost to keep the Taj subsidiary on the go. Taj is all about exit strategy, imo. And they must believe that either the money being spent on legal and keeping Taj subsidiary afloat is sufficiently negligible or that it is money well spent (for the time being). | casual47
17/9/2017 18:15 | Zangdook, I have looked at the TSX rule book and would assume that Section 708 relating to significant assets at risk might apply - re: TAG rehabilitation in KZ. Para (8) Section 10 might apply as it relates to a going concern basis. If Tethys can prove that these hurdles have been overcome by 24 Dec, I presume that would satisfy the TSX review committee. Just my opinion !. | hguess16
17/9/2017 17:53 | TI, Due process or process through the courts is something we PI's have to contend with in this dispute. You might like to look at the Tethys news website 2016 to get a handle on the tactics adopted by Olisol in their efforts to grab Tethys. They acted as if they already owned the company despite having failed to cough up with the balance of the funds. There is no point in trying to blame the present Management for this shambles now because they are having to deal with a group of people who do not follow or even understand business ethics. We have to hope that the courts recognise the serious financial harm that has been caused to Tethys and its long suffering shareholders. | hguess16
17/9/2017 17:32 | Did the company ever confess how precisely it was not in compliance with the TSX listing requirements? What does it actually need to do by December? | zangdook
17/9/2017 09:46 | hguess16.....Agreed. | temporarily insane
16/9/2017 22:10 | TI, It looks like we may have to bide our time for a bit longer. It seems thst we are being subject to a continuos flow of obstacles by Olisol who are still trying to recover goods for a lower price compared to the price agreed on the contract. Cleary there is a breach of contract but Olisol refuses to accept it. Add thst to the subsequent illegal acts committed in KZ. This dispute will take a while to sort out. | hguess16
16/9/2017 21:00 | Who was it that broke their contract? | temporarily insane
16/9/2017 20:28 | Peter, I too would like to see this dispute resolved but it seems clear to me that the with the issues being subject to two legal jurisdictions and Olisol using EGG to fight TAG in KZ,they seem to be adopting any means whstsoever to postpone, IMO, a day of reckoning, which they have to face due to their failure to adhere to the IA and their subsequent illegal actons against Tethys in KZ. So, I too would like to see justice done, but recognise that sometimes the wait is frustrating. | hguess16
16/9/2017 19:46 | Hguess We were using that word "SOON" about a year ago, and then look what happened. | 1399peter
16/9/2017 12:36 | The Kumars are here for cheap gas. Wells and POPE are here for profitable loans. No one in mgmt works on behalf of shareholders -- yet stock price seems prevented from ever dropping to a good risk-taking bet (i.e. .0001 cents). Don't know why. | benandemmiboo
16/9/2017 12:31 | Peter, At present there are 508m shares and Olisol hold 63m and seem determined to undermine Tethys while we PI's are being held to ransom. My point is what can be possibly done to remove this roadblock which is causing us a great deal of uncertainty and frustration. I am hoping that this anomaly will be resolved soon and that normal trading will resume. | hguess16
16/9/2017 12:03 | Casusl, While some of my shares are still in Limbo, most are tradeable and I am holding on. I do not think Tethys realised that UK brokers would be so uninformed and less than helpful. | hguess16
16/9/2017 11:08 | I think he's referring to the fact a few of us still cannot trade their shares as they are in limbo. There's no excuse for that. I wonder if there is more to this. I mean, is it really possible that this is just a big administrative clusterfudge? | casual47
16/9/2017 08:58 | Peter, While I fully understand your utter frustation, let me ask ?. How would you react if someone who holds a large share in your listed company, having failed in its bid to acquire it,then decides to go on the offensive and uses both legal and illegal methods to destabilise and even attempt to bankrupt your company ?. You are allowed any legal methods to solve this dilemma as quickly as possible !. What steps would you take noting that the company operates in two legal jurisdictions. Note that your reply will be subject to scrutiny by this wayward shareholder on this BB. | hguess16
16/9/2017 07:09 | That's 5 months without so much as a step forwards with the trading of our shares on TSX. | 1399peter
15/9/2017 14:12 | With regards to the above I repeat for the management. What are you lot playing at? | temporarily insane
