Yes, Peantern1, my TD Direct UK bought TPL are also now showing alongside the TSX equivalents I bought directly on the Canadian market. Looks like the cross-border has been activated.Not that I'm selling any at these prices...

Hi to all.
Just checked my share account with TD now owned by Interactive Investor Ltd and I have a value of C$0.02 per share in my portfolio holding where recently it was ZERO.

Be patient !.

A few days ago, I was advised that Ken May was out in the field checking on the Great Wall drilling operations !. We might even get an update next week !.

If all goes well with the transfer onto the CDS, TPL will be trading on the TSX next
week !.

I wonder how the drilling is getting on. Last time the drilled for gas was pretty quick/ successful if I remember correctly

Contact a UK broker who deals with the TSX in Canada and ask them if they are able to transfer those shares to CDS register in Canada.
Try TD Direct or Hargreaves Lansdown in the UK.

I found an old TPL share certificate last weekend. Do I need to send it to Capita or will a new one be issued once the transfer to TSX is complete?

Response to my email re the transfer from Clive Oliver

" The Canadian Registrar,TSX Trust Company is responsible for completing the transfer of UK register records onto their existing Tethys register, They informed me yesterday it will take around a week to load all the records. I will let you know when I receive confirmation has been completed. I will also do a press release.

UK Brokers will, depending on whether or not they provide the facility to trade TSX listed shares, act on trading instructions from their clients. If the broker or intermediary concerned already holds Tethys shares in certificated form and wants to trade those shares electronically then it will need to transfer those shares into CDS (Canadian Depository for Securities) http;//www.cds.ca/. This is the new custody and electronic clearing system for share trading in Canada. It is part of the same group of companies as the TSX and the TSX Trust Company Register ".

Spoke with HL. They are investigating. I gave Clive Oliver name as someone who could give HL proper explanation.

Until the Canadian Registrar acts by updating the records ( UK broker info on our holdings in TPL), the UK broker will not do anything as I found out with my broker TD Direct.
Capita only sent our UK broker records on Mon to the Canadian Registrar after the AGM
last Fri.
Clive Oliver expects the records to be updated by the Canadian Registry in the next few days, although I wonder why it takes a few days to update a computer file.
I want to see how long it takes to update the file.
This has been a nightmare for UK shareholders who have been put at the back of the queue !.
Why don't you send him an email as well expressing your frustration !.

Yesterday I asked him to follow through with the UK brokers as soon as the UK file is
uploaded onto the Canadian Register.
Although he has no control over the UK brokers, he said that he will do that as soon as he gets word from the Canadian Registry that the update is completed in a few days.
What we can do individually is to get in touch with our own UK broker and ask them to activate our Tethys trading facility.
I am in constant touch with Clive on this issue and will advise as soon as I hear.

If you are in contact with Clive can you ask him to correspond with the likes of Hargreaves Landsdown, and all the other major brokers so that we might get our transfers sorted...?

Response from Clive Oliver re transfer of UK shareholder file to Canada

" I have received a message from the Canadian Registrar that they had received registry information from Capita yesterday ( Monday )- the cut off date was end of business day Friday, so this is pretty much as per plan. They now need to load the information onto their system".

Clive aims to obtain a deadline date for completion from the Canadian Registry.

WHY DO TETHYS POSTPONE?

ARE THEY STUPID?

DO THEY LOVE ALL THE DELAYS?

IT SHOULD BE CANCELLED AND THROWN OUT AS THEY HAVE MISSED THE DAMN DEADLINE............and start drilling and exporting the bloody oil.

CANCEL IT , THEY HAVE MISSED THEIR OPPORTUNITY TO STEAL TETHYS, NOW MOVE ON.

Olisol requested the EGM on 23 June. The EGM was postponed to 28 July because Olisol
missed the deadline.
Olisol then fails to supply the reqd info for the EGM. So Tethys has to postpone the
28 July date.
It is clear that Olisol does not understand the rules.
If Olisol and its supporters have to declare its total holding of shares, it would give us an indication of whether it has a majority prior to the EGM.
Tethys has bowled a "Warney leg break" to Abramov. He comes forward to drive, but he misreads the spin and is bowled between bat and pad hitting middle stump OR He reads the spin and drives for four through long on !.
Now, which will it be ?.
