Forgetting Konkola West for a moment.....

W/b 10 June they started initial soil sampling focused on copper-in-soil anomalies identified during review of historical exploration data, with reporting of provisional pXRF results upon completion and QA/QC review.

Drilling plans for Copernicus Minerals were at an advanced stage and should coincide with some JV action.

Seisnav is not a geologist you imbeciles. He draws pretty maps which give an indication as to what may be going on above surface, but the reality is you need cross sections that tells you what's going on underground.....ROFLMFAO all imho dyor!

Yes, 2 holes is the commitment but why start planning for that second hole now (which I assume would include target horizon depth and drill collar location), before reaching the target horizon of the first hole?

They always said two holes, so far so good. Almost 1m per hole apparently. Will provide loads of data.

Further to the Company's announcement of 21 May 2024, the Company is pleased to advise that the first hole at the Konkola West Copper Project, hole number KWDD001, was recently reported by KoBold Metals Company to be at a downhole depth of 1,341m and continuing in the hanging wall sequence above the target horizon.

More recently, drilling progress has been a little slower than anticipated due to use of a new drill rig and variable ground conditions. Drilling will continue until the target horizon is reached.

No further announcement will be made until this first hole is completed but planning for a second drill hole is already underway.

~300m in the last month. Not quite sure what to make of planning for a second hole already being underway. Seisnav is excited that they're in the hanging wall above the ore shale and much shallower than expected.

Tomorrow will be 30 days since the last drilling update, when Kobold were at depth of 1,023m.

"Company estimates that drilling of KWDD001 will continue until mid-June 2024 with assay results to follow after that. However, drilling could take longer, or be completed sooner, depending on the thickness of the stratigraphic units yet to be drilled, as well as drilling conditions".

I take it as a positive that no news is good news. I also expect an.update this week.or next.
