23/12/2001 15:14 | Product Power - research the rather large number of share warrants in relation to the number of shares in existence !! | bigt20
23/12/2001 15:06 | pommy, how can we invest in Recall ? | kajak
23/12/2001 14:51 | Recall is the boy, it will be making more profit than its current market cap in a couple of years!! Forget the current shareprice its well wrong. In fact dont forget it at all, remember it very well so when we reach 2003 you will see how far Recall has come up. Is this a ramp? Quite possibly, but then which of the previous posts arent. But then..just maybe it aint. Youll be kicking yourself when you realise, and it costs less to find out than not!!!! ;-) | pommy
23/12/2001 13:52 | Firestone diamonds are very near to a big find at their mopipi site. One broker at charles stanley has suggested it could go to nine pounds once find is announced,so this could easily be a ten bagger. | belabed1
23/12/2001 13:44 | For those that like the look of LNH, have a look at AHG, you will find it has MORE cash as a % of market cap than LNH, but I can't see it more than doubling. On a sh*t or bust basis I would go for Glow Communications. Not a telco company, more of an innovative solutions provider. Their 1p a minute(anywhere in the UK and at any time)offer, in conjunction with Energis, is about to hit the streets in a big way, as it signs more affinity relationships. The company also have a number of potentially huge products under development. Definately not for widows , orphans, or those without a taste for high risk. Please DYOR, and do not rely on anybody else's tips. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
23/12/2001 13:29 | Honister, I'm also an NMT supporter....Met Roy Smith and Tony Fletcher a few times and they are both top guys. With over £20m in cash at this point there's no stopping the move to profit. At these levels (4-5p) you can't lose IMO. Downside is limited due to cash and there's plenty of time to exit before cash becomes an issue again (not that it's likely to). I did that earlier this year. Out at 33p in March/April, bought a few at 6p then applied for double my allotment at 4p and was filled...lovely..Sho | news
23/12/2001 13:19 | I think if EPF get the banking licence we could see a 5 bagger again. Licence due in February of 2002. I'm already in but for any other put it on the watch list. www.epf.com Best wishes for all Also big gain for NMT I hope. Regards Honister | honister
23/12/2001 13:09 | Product Power on OFEX is a ten bagger IMO.....Market Cap=£1.2m 2001 Pre-tax to "significantly exceed prospectus projections of £160,000" 2002 pre-tax forecast at £500,000 rising to over £1m in 2003. Russia is a rapidly developing country and Product Power supplies heavy equipment to resource companies (of which there are MANY) who desperately need modern gear to be competetive. A groundbreaking deal with Royal Bank of Scotland allows ppi to offer CREDIT to Russian companies (for the first time!) which is guarunteed by the European bank of Reconstruction. Deals are flowing faster than expected and there is clearly very strong demand for ppi's services. The MD (John Webster) is very experienced in the Former Soviet Union (where he worked as a mining engineer) and sees massive potential. They have already supplied major machinery to Celtic Resources, Gulf Intl Minerals amongst others. Shares were VERY popular at float a year ago and were chased upto 35p very quickly due to a small free float. They are VERY tightly held and Bruce Rowan (who controls 62%) is reluctant to sell any (he has been asked to a number of times). They now stand at 21p. Lots of interesting deals are in negotiation at present, "any one of which could be a company maker"........ OFEX is a risky place to invest, but it's also where the best bargains are found. There has been NO good research on ppi as it is so small. This is what makes it such an opportunity. I expect another round of interest in the shares early New Year as newsflow picks up (starting with results in Mid-Jan). There is a very informative interview with J.Webster on www.unquoted.co.uk, and it's also worth looking through the latest press releases on OFEX to see how much progress has been made in the last few months, especially the RBS deal which will open up a massive market to ppi, as credit is an essential part of their offering for Russian companies. This is why the big deals so far have been with English companies. They are already profitable on these deals and haven't even begun the serious work! There'a also another interview with JW coming up around results time (on unquoted) which IMO will really start to raise eyebrows in the city... | news

23/12/2001 00:41 | Check out Stanelco Epic: SEO www.stanelco.co.uk for the manufacturing site www.stanelcoplc,com for the corporate site Full year figures are due soon They have made three positive announcements this month This is the smallest fully listed company on the London market at present During the next two years it could become very much bigger Their first broker (see PLC site) begins operating from 3/1/02 and should help the company to become known | zeppo

23/12/2001 00:32 | Half penny stocks are good fun,but the danger in getting it wrong is catastrophic, if serious sums are involved. Maybe one or (max) two in a portfolio.A good rule of thumb with stocks under about 10p is that the no-hopers are often fairly obvious by the number of exclamation marks after the thread title. | bocadillo
23/12/2001 00:23 | These crummy half penny stocks can be a lot of fun and if you get it right make a lot of money.Look at some of the FTSE 100 crummy stocks have gone over the last year Railtrack , vod ,Moni, etc etc .Good luck with your 20% stocks, as for me, come on you 10 baggers. | nijo
