Leucadia and Lombard reducing short positions today.

Down to 12.44% from +13% total positions.

Would expect that to set the tone for the coming days/weeks.

Yes, mid 140s seems to run out of steam. Still plenty of nes to come out of this in the coming weeks and I dont think it will be good

Has tried to break 145p ( last Friday intraday high ) a couple times so far but maybe with time will be the way forward.

It helps the order book very strong once again

ADVFN 2 days chart does not show the proper movement

What you usually find is that there many more short positions sub 0.5% that are opened up. So would say short position anything between 15-20%.an awful lot of shares going to get bought back..

AS others have said, Katz has 12% to work out. Also as a reminder the shares first fell because the placing money went to cover losses. I honestly don't know if those who took part in the placing have any recourse? Probably not as they will be sophisticated investors acting under caveat-emptor, but without a prospectus and the disclaimers they contain perhaps the words provided by the company in seeking money carry more weight. Having said that I imagine the offer to purchase more shares included the phrase "general corporate purposes" which covers everything including simply strengthening the balance sheet. What can be predicted though is that they will not again be able to go to the market for money.
