22/7/2005 12:06 | 2v2 now - last I looked it was 1v3 I think, looks like M.Lynch have moved up, now blue. CR | cockneyrebel
22/7/2005 11:33 | CR, has L2 moved ? thks | ukhawk
22/7/2005 11:10 | yep, when these take off, they will take off very suddenly indeed. just a matter of time imo. | maggiori
22/7/2005 10:59 | A couple of very large trades - if they ar edirector buys these will fly imo CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2005 17:34 | 4 mm's, Merril Lynch have just gone blue on your buy Angora7 CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2005 16:23 | Angora, sry don't currently have L2 either. MM activity hasn't been very aggressive lately, not sure if that's the reason, or the result, of the low amount of trading recently. | ukhawk
19/7/2005 14:10 | ukhawk - Agreed, the p/e is very attractive. Can't understand the spread though. 10 days ago with the spread at about 14% I managed to buy 25K just inside, and today with it at 9.5% I just bought 25K at mid. Go figure. I don't have level 2 so I can't track what the MM's are doing. As a matter of inerest, how many are there? | angora7
19/7/2005 13:09 | It's strange that more people haven't picked up on this though. Maybe it's the spread, or perhaps the "Italian factor", but the figures look good whatever the currency ! Anything with a fwd p/e under 10 in this sector has to be a steal. | ukhawk
19/7/2005 10:54 | I can wait - from what they have said things look bullish, from what all other compaies in the sector say things look bullish. These are just so screamingly cheap that the risk/reward looks too good to ignore. CR | cockneyrebel
19/7/2005 10:11 | Well we didn't get the trading statement ! Another 7 weeks 'til interims, and the next comment here most likely ! | ukhawk
05/7/2005 23:27 | Maggiori, you're not just talking to yourself. Trading statement exactly a year ago today, so you might be right and we'll get another very soon. | ukhawk
05/7/2005 21:27 | Particularly like this bit from their RNS of 17th May 05, which was tagged on to the end of the main announcement of expansion into Albania. "In line with our wholesale strategy, we will continue to extend our international network with bilateral agreements for direct interconnections with other National Operators. " Chief Exec, 17 May 2005 Not only are they expanding fast in Italy, they are getting into cross-border deals too. Italian and international expansion. Nice. Looks like the market has yet to wake up. | maggiori
04/7/2005 22:31 | Either way, it's a nice move for them, whatever their motives !:o) | maggiori
04/7/2005 22:01 | Further thought on that RNS - it seems to be obvious now - Luxembourg, as we know, is classed as 'offshore' in relation to Italy and therefore this transfer, given the said two companies location i.e. Luxembourg, most definitely appears to relate to the following maxim regarding 'offshore' accounts and the advantages that this brings if a company is generating decent profits. "Profits generated by a company will generally be taxed at the rate of the jurisdiction in which it is registered, not the rates applicable to shareholders in their countries of residence." Therefore looks like these two Directors are now getting their act together - all set to make the most of the opportunity emerging from increased profits, and will be realising this through this transfer. Positive trading statement imminent - imo. | maggiori
04/7/2005 15:47 | yep, looks like some transfer to me too - tax purposes I guess - getting it into a more tax efficient home before they post a trading statement hopefully :-) CR | cockneyrebel
04/7/2005 15:26 | Just been studying this too, first impression looks like a transfer, as opposed to a buy? 2 companies involved, transfer from personal holding to company holdings? Tax purposes ? Who knows - am confused as the next man at mo. What is certain though is that their commitment remains. One of them is the newly appointed Chief Exec. Perhaps news/trading update imminent (I speculate of course). Might explain the two Directors focusing on their holdings. Who knows... | maggiori

04/7/2005 09:52 | agree totally. CR | cockneyrebel
04/7/2005 08:43 | In for a modest few this morning, seems like this has been allowed to drift and overlooked by the market as other small mobile/telecoms stocks surge ahead, some of them are looking at their peak imo. This one certainly doesn't. The recent figures re customers seem promising, and the expansion potential is there. Might be a question of watch and wait, on the other hand as CR says, if a trading statement emerges this month, then bobs your uncle. Upside potential significant, downside minimal imio. | maggiori
01/7/2005 13:09 | possibly ukhawk - look at the chart, it's rocketed twice by in the past 18 months or so by between 50% and 100% in a few days. Trading statement July 5th last year so next week these will be 30-40p perhaps? :-) CR | cockneyrebel
01/7/2005 12:45 | Is this one of those shares where you sit looking at the wall and then it goes up 25% ? Amazed that there's not more interest here. | ukhawk
28/6/2005 14:18 | Now bidding 20.25p for 50k online, so didn't take much to move it. | ukhawk
28/6/2005 13:30 | This needs some publicity ! Hopefully a trading statement soon will make a few take notice. | ukhawk
28/6/2005 11:59 | yep, especially the PE :-) CR | cockneyrebel |
