Quite an extensive article on TLU in the sunday pink pages "The Business"
Basically explaining what they do and why it seems to work in their markets despite the fact that it failed in both France and Germany.
They ascribe the relatively poor share performance since its float as partly being down to the fact that their business is being held up by the Italian telecoms regulator.
Generally the article was pretty positive and I would have to say that I was surprised not to see some buying yesterday/today and a move up in the price.
I am planning to get some but there doesnt seem to be any hurry right now.

metraco, yes, still picking up a few shares on bad days. Everything I can see makes this company look way undervalued, the market gets it righr eventually, I'm patient.

Hmm, the memory of Parmalat lingers!
I've been checking this out over the last few months and am pretty pleased with what I see having said that, as other posters have pointed out there are several issues which will hold it back.
1. Its in telecoms which means that it gets lumped with all the losers as opposed to the occasional winner.
2. Its a small cap and as such just doesnt attract the attention of fund managers
3. Its Italian which means that private investors will show an increased wariness of investing over a similar UK based company and as I mentioned in the first line of my post the smell of sour milk still lingers over Italian stocks.
If there is further weakness then I would be inclined to dive in with both feet.

this share is incredible.....mkt cap £38m, estimated Pre tax profit of £6m going up to over £7m next year. Only downside is that its an italian company.

Telecom Italia shortlists 3 bidders for its Finsiel unit - report

MILAN (AFX) - Telecom Italia SpA has shortlisted the US consulting firm
Accenture, Electronic Data Systems and the Italian company COS to bid for its
information technology unit Finsiel SpA, the daily MF said citing sources close
to the deal.
The daily added that Telecom Italia's 79.5 pct stake in Finsiel is valued at
270-300 mln eur.

The company is certainly cheap but I doubt UK investors/institutions will invest in an alternate italian telecoms provider. Imgagine trying to justify that to your investment committee!

This is starting to look silly now, another great deal and we are still at 21.5p. This could be a big winner for 2005 when the market wakes up to it.

The statement today is very reassuring, so its about time these rerated to about 40p. It will happen its just a question of when not if, in my view.

Forecast is for 3.85 cents, not 3.85p.

I must say my puzzlement with this share continues to grow.

Over 1M shares traded today, all shown as buys above mid market price and the share price falls.....

P/e of 4.9 this year, 60% profits growth next year should see us on a p/e of 3. Revenue growing like topsy, management saying trading in line and will meet expectations......

Time to top up me thinks.......

No reaction in the share price to the recent announcement.

And projected EPS for year to end December 2004 is 3.85p, putting the share on a p/e of 4.9. Now for a so called growth stock that is the sort of figure I like. May just top up a bit.........

Anybody got any thoughts on this stock? My broker recommended it as a 'strong buy' the other day citing that the books are excellent and the valuation was slashed at flotation.

Can't find an online link but worth buying the mag, page 34. Its a full page article and gives agood insight into their business. Profits are growing fast but the pe is only 5.5x. Its not a BUY tip as such but concludes that the business is cash generaive and profitable, making a promising AIM story.

czar..where do you get the brokers forecasts from?
Problem with this company is its an Italian company serving in Italy and the web site is all Italian.Also difficult to find finacial data or brokers estimates.
The company could do with better PR with UK investors
