11/2/2015 10:34 | I am sure it will go through - the detail is in there inc who will be chairman and the share deal. I am also pretty certain it is a good deal all round- removes competition and enables synergies. But that wil take time and the rise has been excellent over the last six months | silverfern
11/2/2015 08:44 | This whole thing is just too speculative, non-binding agreement, possible private capital take over. For me, bird in hand time, right or wrong. And judging by the buy frenzy I could easily be wrong. | pilgrim
11/2/2015 08:29 | yes and it's good bye from me! See you on the Diploma or Close BRothers threads :) | silverfern
11/2/2015 08:27 | Well there's your answer - the market seems to like it! :-) | itchycrack
11/2/2015 07:32 | Longer term the case seems solid and could explain the recent rise and the lack of CEO appointment - shorter term ie this week! I am not so sure either | silverfern
11/2/2015 07:22 | The headlines look O.K., but the merger proposal confuses the situation. Lets see how the market takes it. | pilgrim
11/2/2015 07:21 | A merger with a same size company (TCY are bigger on revenue and EPS) makes the results kinda less crucial. In the statement they say EPS will be neutral in Year 1- as INterXion have over EPS than TCY this could mean EPS for next year flat against this year - I don't know. THe share buy back will increase EPS by a bit though " broadly earnings neutral to TelecityGroup shareholders in the first full year of the combined group and earnings accretive thereafter". Interesting! | silverfern
02/2/2015 20:18 | Indeed! Called this one spot on! :-) :-) | itchycrack
25/1/2015 20:18 | Its also supposed to be the end of the supermarket so would they not make perfect spaces for new hp fridge size computers ! | spacecake
19/1/2015 21:54 | I remember Intel opening the data centre in Winnersh 1999- no future in them.... | silverfern
19/1/2015 18:17 | End of the data centre ?.... "Currently, everything on the Internet, including this article you’re reading, is at the mercy of the functioning of data centers. These are enormous ranks of machines, one on top of the other, handling enormous amounts of data and memory. And Hewlett Packard wants you to rip them all out and replace them with one computer, roughly the size of your fridge." | spacecake
19/1/2015 14:11 | US stakeholder a good sign - results soon! | silverfern
21/11/2014 10:29 | Indeed, 900p by year end is certainly not unachievable IMHO. | itchycrack
21/11/2014 09:56 | Keep talking pants chaps - meanwhile this is flying | silverfern
17/11/2014 18:12 | maybe it wasn't all about strategy for the reason he left. | jontyone
17/11/2014 09:01 | I know what is. If you prefer not to call it deception that is your view. | dr_smith
17/11/2014 08:34 | Its not deception, please do your homework!! | itchycrack
17/11/2014 08:32 | Deceipt by key board members and staff affects all. PPI, Libor, For Ex, and GSK scandals to name a few. | dr_smith
17/11/2014 08:08 | I don't beleive this will affect TCY like others because TCY is not widely held by PIs, its an II stock. | itchycrack
17/11/2014 08:05 | This doesn't do us any favours... | stephentroughton
13/11/2014 17:05 | 870p should be the target according to the chart. | freddie ferret
13/11/2014 16:15 | A lot of volume from 14:30 today (US open), anyone heard any bid rumours?? | itchycrack
04/11/2014 17:27 | It may just be a matter of sell on the news but the broader market is once again looking vulnerable. The company itself seems very sound and strong. | freddie ferret |
