I note we have had no news on how the business is going since July.
Having done a spot check of the holdings RNS my reading is that Schroders shareholding has remained stable at 20pc in the recent months.

Trying to work out the implications for the share price of this morning's news.
If the deal goes through with the global investor and depending on the terms there may well be a floor to the price and we could look forward to a slow and steady improvement. If the deal falls through and/or the terms are bad then all bets are off.
Clear that even at this reduced share price there has been no rush to take it over at a price the Directors can recommend.
Departure of CFO not ideal but seems to be civilized.

doubtful... as the offer was 2.4p so you'd have to be really thick to trade this one thinking that.

I reckon it's because TP Group got an offer yesterday and some people got the Tekmar ticker TGP confused with TP Group's TPG (even though you couldn't actually confuse the companies based on the share prices!). Then momentum traders jumped on the small rise thinking there was news. At this level of the market, the moron risk premium is high!

This is of course good news but disappointing that we have no TU as we have passed their financial year end and we have had no contract wins RNS since July. No doubt we will hear in the next few weeks that the UKEF facility has been renewed.

Before the RNS earlier this year, the share price averaged around 40p. Since then the cash position has improved and expressions of interest have been received to buy the company. The share price should be much higher - at least 25p which means a potential 200% rise from Friday's closing price.

Not sure if I am having a rush of blood to the head but made some modest purchases.
Seems cheap.
Marcap £6.5m approx:a purchaser would have transaction costs of buying it including soft costs for investment evaluation of say £600k and post acquisition restructuring costs of say £1.4m
so you are looking at total cost of £8.5m plus the premium over the current share price.
I have to say if I had more confidence in their moat/what is different about them I would buy more.

From what I can make out, today’s contract/announcement confirms my belief, TGP BOD’s desire to succeed in this business and are working hard behind the scenes to win many more significant contracts for 22/23 through their 5 offices.



The business demand is back and business is improving out there. They just need to continue to win the tenders, without sacrificing their margins. Many patent product’s..

The potential is here to multi-bag we all sense that here, in a few weeks from now, the bigger volume players, day traders etc will be on the Amalfi Coast or San Tropez. They will be back.
