M.T.Glass,

I sold out of this one just before I went on holiday in June and took my profit, (due to the market downturn) no other reason, although it's held up pretty well. The directors have obviously taken up their options and will dilute the share base and Schroders selling some gives an indication that they want to scale down their holding, but it is high.

Intresting one this Ted Baker is one of the brands that is growing as a mid price designer label and those brands seem to have no let up in their success, I would guess due to the people that mainly buy them being around the 16-30 year olds with a high disposable income.

The House of Fraser director was on Bloomberg the other day saying that their sales at the moment are being underpinned superbly by this type of fashion product, brand names in the mid to upper range sector of fashion.

I'm led to believe that franchises in the US are looking like bringing in more cash so I don't see sales falling but the current price may be a tad high for the current sentiment.

I have little experience of shorting but I would guess that the price will drift especially around the divi payout and with the current market sentiment, hard one to call, but i'd guess there is certainly room for some movement down. Regularly little or no volume though.

Regards

Peaked? Down all last week. Not by a lot, but chart looks negative. It's had an excellent run this last 3 months but looks exhausted. Time to cash in and switch to somewhere else maybe.

It's shot up over 85% this past quarter, but time to cash in for now? Schroder just sold 200,000 of them, and rsi (I think) shows it slipping down from overbought since the weekend. What do the more experienced traders amongst us think?

Westham,

I'm in with a few thousand not sure wether to load up some more, everything looks right and a friend gave me info that the bottom line could well be improved by US sales, interested in getting a bit more feed back from other holders, but I'm guessing it's back on it's way up and with the yield it makes it attractive to me for a longer term hold.

What say you Westy ??

Bottomed out ? A revival on the cards, sales continue to grow, and the selling of this one may have been over done, with US revenue likely to roll in and make a difference to the bottom line, is this headed back to £5 ?
