03/10/2003 09:42 | Lemming Nice write up Specially good to hear "Pre-tax profits came in at £4.6m, around £1m more than had been expected by Evolution Beeson Gregory. The broker predicts a spate of upgrades for the stock as a result and for its part has already raised its full-year forecast to £14m from £12.5m and the price target to 400p from 380p. Seymour Pierce also increased its pre-tax forecasts to £13.4 million for the year to end January 2004 and £14.9 million for next year. Which equates to earnings of 22.4p and 24.9p" Ted Baker also gets a sizeable piece of promotion in today's Telegraph Reckon its going a long way north >>>>>>>> | watcha

04/10/2001 13:14 | obarmoth - Didnt take it like that. The last month has been highly profitable thoguh I did not see this sort of rally in the last few days. I am short several stocks fortuunately most are so intrincially bad that they havent even moved up on a day like this however a short in a bull rally is a hard pill to chew. | matthewa
04/10/2001 13:02 | Didn't mean to sound smug - but always do your research. Didn't you spot that Prudential buy on September 20th on the RNS? Results were always gonna be good... Hope you're having a better day elsewhere. | obarmoth
04/10/2001 10:39 | KDC - lost on this one. Covered @ 2.80 for 20 pts loss. Win some lose some. Note my biggest short ITO is down again even on a day like today. What was most gutting was the strongest division in Ted Baker was the womens clothing (highest growth) which shows you cant trust ex girlfriends! WEll done all those long - very positive news in very tough times. Very good results. | matthewa
