28/3/2017 08:09 | Bought some more this morning - excellent results. CTO are cheap purely on fundamentals - then add in the £9.2m cash against a £35m m/cap and it's looking pretty good. There should be some nice tips in the press for CTO too after this. | rivaldo
28/3/2017 08:09 | Starting to move up now... | allstar4eva
28/3/2017 07:54 | The fraud was announced in October, so is 'old news': The following update was provided in January: 'Further to our announcement on 31st October 2016, the 2016 results will include exceptional charges and provisions in relation to the internal fraud at our DGR subsidiary. These are estimated at £2.2m, including a provision for professional costs of £0.4m directly associated with our efforts to recover the misappropriated funds. Profits for the year are expected to be in line with market expectations after reflecting the full impact of the accounting adjustment for the fraud in the period, other than the provision for related professional costs referred to above. Legal proceedings to recover the misappropriated funds are ongoing.' 'The Group's year end net cash position improved for the fourth successive year to £9.2m (31st December 2015: £6.6m), an increase of 39% on the previous year.' | eagle eye

28/3/2017 07:48 | Great set of results imho. | allstar4eva
28/3/2017 07:29 | One disappointment I am very disappointed we had to report the discovery during the year of a significant fraud at one of our subsidiary companies. The management response on discovery of the fraud was swift, decisive and appropriate. An independent and comprehensive review of our internal controls and procedures was commissioned immediately. As a result of the review, a number of recommendations were made which will further strengthen our controls and are in the process of being implemented. The Board is satisfied that the fraud was limited to the subsidiary company in question and that the full extent of the fraud has been identified. Legal proceedings are ongoing. Have they provided for this | albanyvillas
27/3/2017 13:45 | Not fully priced in imho. But we'll see about that tomorrow! | allstar4eva
27/3/2017 13:36 | Results telegraphed but not yet priced in? | allstar4eva
27/3/2017 13:09 | Highly excited about results tomorrow although they seem to have been well telegraphed in the main. Interesting that 3x10k's sells has resulted in the spread widening and the offer moving from 87 to 89. I wonder whether we will see any buying late in the day. Agree that more pressure required on 90 and tomorrow might be the catalyst | cc2014
27/3/2017 11:33 | Looking forward to results tomorrow, hopefully it will attract a few new investors. This 90p barrier needs to be smashed, then it will be onwards and upwards. Hopefully some late afternoon buying is on the cards. | igoe104
22/3/2017 21:33 | That's irrelevant , there's a large order being matched at 88.49 (35k,35k,40k,50k). The wider spread deters buyers and sellers making a more orderly market for market maker. Once the seller is done the price should move substantially higher. | ivancampo
22/3/2017 21:11 | Interesting that at the end of the day someone still prepared to pay 89. It looks to me like someone is very keen to buy in before results and isn't discouraged by the wide spread. | cc2014
22/3/2017 17:21 | 160k in delayed trades from last night come through. All good. | ivancampo
22/3/2017 08:11 | Under 4 tradings days until results... | allstar4eva
22/3/2017 08:03 | Wide spread whilst order being worked - reckon we are very near to being filled and a move higher, possibly today, probably this week. | ivancampo
20/3/2017 13:07 | It's pretty clear the buyers and sellers are playing chicken before the results both trying to get the best price they can. | cc2014
20/3/2017 10:26 | All buys again this morning, still a bit of stock around at this level but expect to be through the 90p level ahead of results a week tomorrow. | ivancampo
15/3/2017 20:21 | A really good article Rivaldo. It's always good to see companies investing in their future rather than doing the same thing over and over. After rising to 90 a pull back off a few pence was not a surprise. The buying continues though and the share price has nudged up a little today on a stream of buys over the last couple of days where the buyers are interested even with a wide spread. All looking good to me. Results are on the horizon now. | cc2014
15/3/2017 11:03 | Cheers for that rivaldo, This certainly has a feel of a company, which has turned the corner and is at the start of a good run. | igoe104
12/3/2017 13:56 | Support at 68? | opodio
10/3/2017 10:34 | Where's support going to be guys ? I'm ready for a couple of 25000 buys. A good 50% upside at least here in the next 6 months......where else could you put your money and a nice dividend yield to boot !!!!! | basem1
07/3/2017 14:37 | Lots of news on the CTO web site, but this from a couple of weeks ago reads well as regards their new-ish Intelligent Buildings operation: "Order book is also substantially expanded This growth in capability is also being matched by our order book growth - with the recent win of work on the vast 22 Bishopsgate project standing out. This is organic growth of the classic TClarke kind. Steady growth of in-house capability alongside the necessary accreditations, followed by delivery of significant wins which allow for further growth of capability. In the medium term we now plan to extend our offer into sprinkler systems - and that process is underway. A few years back we were a new operation. In 2016 we’re a genuine player in the market - a quality TClarke offer that not only builds high quality revenue for the firm but also allows us to be more competitive as a group when we approach major projects. So TCIB is also contributing to the agility of the business" | rivaldo |
