12/3/2006 07:28 | SUBJECT: Very Heavy Debt Load Posted By: Raffles97 Post Time: 10/31/2002 17:18 Not sure where your facts are coming from since TMI took over the infrastructure from the Government that was walked away from by the outfit that put everything in place. The first operator was setup for very large scale fixed place production. TMI's game plan was to use smaller mobile plants to avoid some of the heavy costs involved in moving to a central location. Considering the huge field and infrastructure TMI setup for pennies on the dollar. The debt load is not terrible due to a lot of the money being put in by the Chairman out of his pocket or companies he controls. On a cash flow basis it's almost a breakeven situation and requires the occasional LARGE stone to generate profits. Downside is the control by one person, the chairman but then he's dug into his own pockets to support the share price and the company. UPSIDE, is the huge potential possible from the joint venture with RioTinto on the two properties. A viable find by RioTinto would immediately boost the value of TMI. Agree that at the moment it's a hold rather than a buy but when it becomes a BUY I wonder if we'll afford the premium asked. @: | energyi

30/8/2002 10:19 | 7th highest riser. ADVFN don't even have it on their list. They don't seem to know it exists. | johndee

27/8/2002 15:30 | Johndee, Yes great little gold play and one with a huge advantage over other gold plays. It has a dual London/Toronto listing and will therefore track the gold price well. All Toronto listed gold stocks track the gold price well. None of the London gold stocks seem to pay any attention to it whatsoever. Makes you wonder if they know what they're digging out of the ground. | dark matter

26/8/2002 22:43 | Thistle mining has now been on AIM since 14th August. In Canada it has been rising again(Fri and Mon)to 45 cents. Here it is 19 pence and it is high time that investors took notice of this thriving gold play. | johndee |
