About time CEO took responsibility for the share price underperformance. |
Two months ago December 2024
Excellent and very impressive video interview with Brian Raven, CEO on Flagstaff TV explaining the latest positioning and strategy of Tavistock Investments.
(also a further similar interview with Traders Cafe around the same date).
Recordings of both recent interviews can readily be found by googling "youtube brian raven tavistock interview".
Not to be missed.

Good to see some positive news |
Excellent news to see the timely completion of the ABP acquisition.
The acquisition brings approaching £3 billion of Assets Under Management to Tavistock.
As per RNS of 22/11/24:-
"This acquisition strengthens Tavistock's asset management scale and solutions provision in the UK retail investment market. It is a key step in the Group's refocusing into a much more significant asset manager providing investment solutions to third party advice firms and networks, as well as to retail clients directly."

people see what they want to see and easily miss contradictory information when it's in their interest to remain ignorant. There was a purchase at 5p on Monday - hope springs eternal. |
simonsmith1 - true we have and of very late - to quote a few - TAVI ST has mentioned before - also along with TMG, TEC and HUW, none of which has taken off yet, but one could argue - give it time. now its CARR, ANIC, and TAVI. all do have its merits and possibilities, but there is some hot air, as some of the share prices over the last 18 months have been a bit bumpy, but going forward could now break out. |
ST valued TAVI at 16p once upon a time. cannot find a 3.75p purchase trade even if it is an average. the buyback / sell at 4.3p is extrinsic. About time for a trading update considering these director deals. |
He had this in his 2022 Bargain share list |
Have we not seen this situation before? |
also a very supportive write-up and inclusion in the Bargain Share List for 2025 in this week's new edition of the Investor's Chronicle. |
Agreed, lots going on under the surface here one suspects, and the directors would be privy to that info |
A very strong and significant SIGNAL when both the CEO and the Finance Director are buying and increasing already large holdings.
If anyone knows what is happening with the financial situation of the Company - it is the GROUP FD.
Many investors see DIRECTOR BUYING as a key BUYING SIGNAL and INDICATOR - especially when multiple senior Directors are buying.
Bodes well.

You aint seen nothing yet Lol |
big cross of over 10mn shares @ 3.70p yesterday. |
8.6mn at 4.3p trade on the tape Wed. It is not an "O" trade, should be an "X" trade. It is reported late & 4.3p cannot be justified. where is this 3.75p trade. |
Well it was voted in by the shareholders! Wonder who holds an awful lot of shares to ensure it got passed. They have to be able to cash in on all those lovely options at some stage. Had he sold 8.6 million in the market can you imagine how the share price would have reacted. £370k not to be sniffed at even if he has to pay cgt. Corrupt but still legal. |
It's a disgrace, the BOD are using shareholders cash to pay 4.3p for shares, when they could pay less than that in the market, directors have a fiscal responsibility to shareholders, this shows total disregard for that |
The BoD have purchased shares at 3.75p and sold at 4.3p. How do they justify 4.3p currently. It is not a fair and orderly market for minority investors. |
Is this why the Board approved the share buy backs? |
That surely is insider trading. This is why the share price struggles to even match the cash on the balance sheet. Where is the corporate governance? The FCA must investigate this because it undermines the integrity of the AIM market. |
Surely that is a form of insider trading, he can buy more for himself at a lower price |
How are they allowed to get away with this |
