Wideyed on the LSE board has posted that he has had an email from Ben Raven saying that results should be mid July. So in the next 2 weeks. Could see a bit of interest in the run up and if all the signs are correct they could be a decent set.

Bit confused on the timetable but I would have thought the final results shouldn't be too long, so that will give you a decent steer...........Personally I would have thought it is flying..........

hxxp://tavistockinvestments.com/research-recommendations/

There are two research reports on the above link; however it is unclear how independent they are. Forecasts are buried in them but a lot has happened in 6 months.

I cannot find any brokers' forecast. Does anyone know where I may find some independent research on this company? Many thanks.

Rather non descript RNS issued today regarding the extension of the fund range. It does however show where the focus for growth is within the company.

Full year results still expected by the end of the week.

News of Tatton IPO in the press today focusses investors on this growing sector. WH Ireland trading update yesterday also highlighted the underlying strength in wealth management at the moment........

We are surely sitting on an undervalued gem here..........

An unfortunate sell for Glasshalffull having seen a 17% increase in AFHP today.

The key difference here is where AFHP and TAVI are on the profitability curve and embedding their acquisitions. AFHP does command a higher valuation than TAVI but I retain my view that AFHP is bloated. The higher valuation you have the easier it is to raise money for acquisitions.

An update is due this month - Brian Raven in the video stated 'towards the end of June'. If this demonstrates profitability across all parts of the business then we could move up.

A lot depends on the acquisition costs (i.e. the cost of integrating Price Bailey); however after 2 years of stalking them you would think they would have a cost effective and robust plan for this.

Not really posted on here for a little while but here are my thoughts and observations.

From the interview video posted earlier in this thread the Brian Raven states that the company will report towards the end of June 2017.

Oliver Cooke bought 800,000 shares at 2.85p and Brian Raven bought 900,000 at 2.80p. These are not massive purchases at circa £22,000 each but you can question why? Both already had significant skin in the game with there share holdings and options; if you had £22,000 knocking about to invest why add to TAVI instead of diversifying. The simple answer is you really believe in the company. The timing of these investments is also interesting in that they are just after the previous financial year. The purchase also supports a move away from equity dilution to fund an acquisition; if there was something in the pipeline wouldn't you keep your £22,000 of powder dry in order to subscribe for a placing.

The appointment of Peter Horbye is also very interesting if not for the remuneration structure. His bonus structure is not light, if I was accepting it I would be pretty sure I could hit my objective target.

Looking on Money Observer you can see the size of the four Acumen funds and the increase YoY.

ACUMEN Conservative £84M up to £235M this year.
ACUMEN Income £30M up to £94M this year.
ACUMEN Progressive 22M up to £66M this year.
ACUMEN Adventurous £19M up to £57M this year.

A total of £452M in these portfolio and a tripling. Of course TAVI gets renewals and ongoing fees from clients invested outside these portfolios as well.

The research available on the company website indicates 10p a share is a target price but this was before the Peter Horbye deal. The grounds of this research still holds but the market wants to see bottom line results.

AFHP is up 10% today as it announces a deal to buy Eunisure for £4.5M. With a turnover of 24.1M and market Cap of 67.40M it appears grossly over valued - I guess the market loves the small profit it makes.

There is an interview available with Brian Raven that was posted yesterday on proactive investors.

www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/7374/tavistock-investments-brian-raven-on-key-new-appointments-7374.html

All positive and mostly about what the new team members bring to the business, but last bit of interest as he reflects on the development of the business and starts talking about profitability. A further update from the company should be around end of June.
