22/4/2019 18:14 | I think they also need a lot more focus, I just checked out carp-zone, last review “...Awesome service” Carp Fishing Barrow, By Barry, (27/10/2015). Many of the ancillary sites cited in the Annual Report are, to be honest, pathetic, with no recent updates c 2014 / 2015 I would not take a lot to have a central site and conformity on presentations, white labelling brands. It Does look like they are focusing now, Pulse, Squish etc which is the right thing | hatfullofsky
22/4/2019 13:22 | Tiger - Continuing from the DTG thread. I think it's very hard to extrapolate a future EPS number based on the information we have presently. EPS has not been over 40p for the last 5 years and although stronger and stabilised over the last 2 financial years (small fall in FY18) I think 40 - 50 is ambitious. Can they repeat the success of LOL Surprise ? Can they accommodate the pricing pressures of the major retailers ? Can they keep growing Squish ? Can they keep growing the DTC Channel ? I would be happy with a trend toward 40p at the interims then we could look to 50p I definitely see recovery in the share price (once through 200) but a full revaluation will occur when the EPS numbers start rising sustainably. | hatfullofsky
17/4/2019 08:54 | Nice weather over Easter holiday won't do any harm. | amt
15/4/2019 22:16 | Well it moved back to 200 mid | castleford tiger
15/4/2019 11:05 | I've dipped my toe in with a small purchase this morning. I like the low PE and PSR, lack of debt, increasing dividend and the positive outlook statement in the results RNS last week. Hopefully one to tuck away for the future. | impvesta
11/4/2019 06:08 | yes 27.06.19 is AGM I hope you get a result as this could go far tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 23:16 | Have they set the date for the Agm ? ideally I would like to arrange a results presentation but in the past they have refused to do anything for shareholders other than attending the Agm lol They do not normally return my calls but I did send an email request today. I have offered them a presentation slot at my next Mello event in Chiswick but that is very unlikely to be accepted. | davidosh
10/4/2019 22:16 | That would be very nice and a beer or two on me! Tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 20:26 | I am inclined to the view that this is a longterm investment and favour a consistent dividend policy. This makes it easier to produce forecasts and helps with the investment case. Also the recession word has been mentioned a few times by economists even without Brexit since the economic cycle is getting long in the tooth. Good to have a war chest in such situations. Having plenty of cash also makes it easier for management to concentrate on growing the business. I think the share price will take care of itself once it becomes obvious its such a bargain. It just needs a year of strong growth (which could be this year) to light the touch paper and 4 or 5 quid wouldn't surprise me. | amt
10/4/2019 20:13 | Current year p/did 4 if we make 50p Has to be worth another £1 at least Tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 20:10 | Green giant? | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 14:45 | Was this the share green giant liked and bought a stake ?Is he still long ?Nice rise today well done | nico115
10/4/2019 12:32 | Time to sell ...... I just bought Has been on my watchlist but missed the Trading Update. No doubt there will be a temporary retrace but I just kept watching it go up so jumped in. I think it's onwards and upwards now, deal with Disney is great especially with all the hype on Avengers Endgame. Pension deficit a red flag but I can deal with that. I'll be buying more on the inevitable retrace possibly 160 / 180 | hatfullofsky
10/4/2019 09:16 | We are net cash. That means we have no debt. The cash is 4.8m. I am pretty sure the debt showing will be invoice discounting so difficult to pay off. I just feel we should share in the rewards. Tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 08:58 | Debt has not been paid off as I understand it. Its just overall net cash. Best to pay off debt first. I would rather they invest any spare cash. Plus Brexit uncertainty could drag on for years so pound is vulnerable which would damage margins plus consumer spending perhaps. Its not the time to take any risk. | amt
10/4/2019 08:53 | All debt has gone they are net cash. They will be adding 2/3 million to that in current year. Have you seen how much we have spent on acquisitions in last few years? Plus we bought the Birmingham site. The business spins of plenty of cash and its time long term holders saw some return. A normal dividend policy is 1/3 to 1/2 of EPS. That would equate to 15/16p last year and we get 4.6p The dividend will then drive the price in my opinion. Tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 08:42 | Yes those sort of figures are possible but why a special dividend? Best to eliminate all debt and build say 4 or 5m in cash to remove any working capital restraints and provide war chest for any sudden downturns and perhaps bolt on acquisitions. So a steadily increasing dividend is best policy. | amt
10/4/2019 08:41 | Been on my watchlist a while and bought today | chrisis33
10/4/2019 08:36 | got a 1000 at 180 I can see EPS 45/50p and a special dividend next year? Huge turnaround and net asset value should be around 230/240. THe business is then in for free............Fair value is well north of 300p and 400p if they make 50p this year giving p/e of 8 Tiger | castleford tiger
10/4/2019 07:39 | WOW-That reads well | balcony
10/4/2019 07:08 | Great results given the difficult economic environment as expected. Second half was fantastic. Optimistic outlook. Surely a massive re-rating is due. Pe of 10 on these results would be a share price of over 3 quid for example. Well done to the management and team at Tandem who have played the long game rather than quick fixes and built a great solid diverse business over many years. I think there are going to be some happy shareholders. | amt
06/4/2019 06:54 | Ah thanks. can you outline what was said? Do they like me see this with massive upside? Tiger | castleford tiger
