OPERATIONAL OUTLOOK
• Recent operational highlights
- Actual year-to-date nickel production of 4,203t and zinc production of 8,032t until 28 April 2014
- Plant operations remain steady
- Leaching of current heaps 1 and 4 continues well
» Due to high metal out-take and ageing of heaps, solution grades and leaching will decline
over the coming months unless re-claiming and mining are re-started
• Re-claiming of old heaps 2 and 3 to start Q2 2014
- Poorly leached, flooded heaps contain
approx. 16,000-18,000t of nickel
- Re-claiming and re-stacking will revive
leaching; provides a quick supplement of
leachable metals
- Remains subject to financing
• Mining to start in July, subject to financing
