27th

Deutsche REITERATE BUY and INCREASE their Target Price (from 190p) to 200p

30th.

Barclays REITERATE OVERWEIGHT with TARGET PRICE of 130p

UBS UPGRADES ( from SELL 0 to NEUTRAL with Target Price 87p.



Deutsche Bank see a massive 130% UPSIDE to current price.

If you like small telecoms, especially with ebusinesses now adding services for staff to work from home, see £4m micro cap Toople (Toop) headed up by ex Talk Talk man Andy Hollingworth and aiming to get 5% of the UK SME market in the next few years for a possible mcap of £400m to £500m.

Toop could 100x bag from here.

there's going to be some red faces, once this mess is over, when brokerage related companies start declaring the profits they have made during the crisis

another possibility...

...if a shareholder has a de minimus shareholding, sometimes the cost to the Company of keeping you on the shareholder registry is out of all proportion to the value of the shares and they sometimes encourage you to dispose of the shares which you are under no obligation to do.

Anyone able to explain why I received a letter today asking what I want to do with my shares? It's from Tim Morris, Company Secretary asking whether I want to use Equiniti to Buy, Sell or Donate to Charity.

Expected date for closing of £200million FibreNation sale is 27th. March.

"If this expected date changes, the Company will give notice of the changes in an announcement through a regulatory information service."

In the absence of any such notice to date, fingers crossed all going according to timetable and for a nice £200million cash transfer to TalkTalk's coffers this Friday.


FibreNation has announced big new plans for an extensive roll-out in Bolton recently. Good news for TalkTalk as a key provider on fast-expanding FibreNation network.

Disney+ now throttling bitrates on streaming to help internet demand which is off the scale.

Disney+ joins Youtube and Amazon and Netflix in cutting streaming bandwidth due to unprecedented demand. Rumoured that BBC Iplayer may do likewise.

Millions of employees working at home will push up demand for PREMIUM broadband, much of the cost of which is likely to be subsidised by employers.

Demand for broadband streaming is off the graph.

So much so that heavy in-putters like Netflix are lowering picture quality to ease bandwidth burden.

Record Internet traffic across the sector.

It seems clear that users will likely be upgrading packages and buying add-ons.

Seems also likely that normal consumer entertainment spend on going out will now be part channeled into home entertainment and incremental spend on broadband entertainment.
