14/2/2018 19:29 | Agreed , although I’m not sure I know what I’m doing either as I’m down on my investments. Information purposes only but have you noticed how low the daily turnover in shares is for Talk . Example ,today roughly £3 million for a company capitalised at approx £2.2billion | whatsup32
14/2/2018 18:48 | It often seems that the brokers have less than a clue than the rest of us. Although the markets to tend to overreact (in either direction). | septimus quaid
14/2/2018 18:27 | I had a look on different sites FT and investing.thisismone First Deutsche Bank with a price target of 230p on November 2017 and another from HSBC 250p on April 2017. I would presume if they decide to change their stance they will reduce their price target. Most brokers seem to be reducing their PT . | whatsup32

14/2/2018 07:34 | Important article on page 15 of today's FT headed " Liberty and Vodafone set deals ball rolling". Writing about Liberty Global, led by Mike Fries, which are reported by The FT to be weighing a number of options for Virgin Media, one notes the following words/paragraph in this FT article: "Other potential targets include TalkTalk, whose stock price is at an all-time low, or business-to-business telecoms company Daisy". ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
13/2/2018 22:16 | considering the dilution, plenty of ii's INCREASING holdings. Too much money been plouged in, so i think future plans are realistic, and will be executed. | kmann

13/2/2018 15:20 | You could be right as could they . But keep in mind they got it wrong up to now in a massive way. They may be averaging or trying to catch a falling knife either way I wouldn’t want to follow them. | whatsup32
13/2/2018 15:06 | Tosca buying again, RNS today, follow the positivity! | septimus quaid
13/2/2018 15:04 | My reading of this article is that they were positive on this company a year ago when they should have been negative. Huge mistake concidering price crash. They didn’t see a second dividend cut, rights issue or profits warning. Now having made that mistake they say they will stick with it. Hardly a recommendation. Having said that I don’t see the price changing much +- 10% maybe barring new news. | whatsup32
13/2/2018 14:30 | Premium article ,won’t let you read other then a little of the top article as a teaser. I got the jest of it anyway. Thanks | whatsup32

13/2/2018 10:12 | DT's Questor: realistic but, amidst this ocean of negativity, slightly encouraging article, part extract below: This column rarely has a beef with firms that invest in their competitive position and accordingly it is inclined to stick with Sir Charles’s plan, especially as the damage to the share price and the dividend has already been done. Questor says: hold | septimus quaid
13/2/2018 08:33 | Today. Morgan Stanley issue Broker Note and REITERATE their EQUAL WEIGHT recommendation with TARGET PRICE at 120p | quepassa
12/2/2018 18:53 | A bit of idle speculation on my part but I wonder if one of the (content only) streaming service providers, such as Netflix or Amazon, would welcome a tie-up with Talk? ...with the aim of becoming a content/ISP service like Sky/BT/Virgin and gain control over their bandwidth requirements. Amazon and Netflix are huge (market cap $664Bn and $111Bn respectively) and could possibly take out BT but they might see Talk as more bite-sized with expansion opportunities (also with less of the debt, union and pension's baggage). | septimus quaid
12/2/2018 15:14 | My thinking is the same as yours . Sep. | whatsup32
12/2/2018 15:01 | Today's RNS re INVESCO holdings, is it just an % adjustment due to the "rights issue"? | septimus quaid
12/2/2018 13:17 | It’s those ‘ tired visionless analysts’ that’s got it right up to now. | whatsup32
12/2/2018 09:20 | Looks like the markets are turning up again. Time to follow the money here imo. I'd sooner listen to the guys who put up £200mil rather than a bunch of tired visionless analysts right now. | kmann
09/2/2018 22:00 | EE to offer fast wireless broadband to .5 million rural homes . Source telegraph This will be interesting , EE is owned by BT. First Vodafone is going head on to Broadband with their value deals and now BT via EE is going to cover the rural areas where there is hardly any competition with their expensive options. | whatsup32 |
