13/1/2017 08:36 | I can understand the frustration and ill feeling that each debacle our Board thrusts upon us creates. It is easy to see why such long term holders throw in the towel and move on to other things with a bitter taste in their mouths. I feel the same way, but I am not going to sell any of mine for a little while. Wont buy any either, am comfortable with the amount of stock, and exposure here. Things are changing here at Taihua, and each have to make up their own mind as to the signs and reasonings behind recent events to decide on whether to hold and see, or sell up and move on. After the years I have held here, another little while makes no difference. I am staying put, just to see how this plays out. | duplicate book
13/1/2017 08:32 | I see the trades numbers game as started again. How about this series of trades today. 01110000 01101100 01100101 01100001 01110011 01100101 00100000 01110011 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01110101 01110011 00100000 P.S. Oxtail, Struth are you planning to send them a copy of last years annual report. | lyonst5
12/1/2017 21:31 | If its the same guy he must be near 3% lets hope he keeps buying unlike nan yang.Due to the broken promise i sold my buyback shares, cant wait to sell the rest then i will send them something nice and smelly in the post. | oxtail2015
12/1/2017 18:53 | Odvod....think the MM's took on plenty yesterday in the 3.4 range. Best bid early doors in size was 3.265. Might be worth hanging on to see if Mr. 200k is back tomorrow. Dont think it would take much to push the offer back up to 4p. | duplicate book
12/1/2017 18:49 | Think I'll buy 141,516 in the morning just for the crack :o)) | duplicate book
12/1/2017 18:42 | Our 3.5p buyer took 200k chunks today. Have no idea about the other 'consecutive number' trades? Somebody having a laugh? I don't know and doubt that they carry any sort of clandestine message! The main thing is all of the sells are being hoovered up by somebody just at the moment. Long may it last. You can only sell your shares once and once our sellers dry up........... | duplicate book
12/1/2017 17:00 | Davydoo, Investor relations department...? You do a have wicked sense of humour, ah you've been smoking crack as well it seems. | lyonst5
12/1/2017 16:57 | DB, I would not say its random but with it takes some balls to do when there is overt pressure being placed on Taihua by others to get its ship in order or else... | lyonst5
12/1/2017 16:53 | well at least we know there is an investor relations department now :) | davydoo
12/1/2017 16:49 | when I put an order to sell 100k MMs pushed down the price. For lousy 100k! Then I removed the order and up again. Crazy | kaos3
12/1/2017 16:47 | Does anybody really think that what is going on is just normal, random trading! Look at the buys yesterday too. This whole thing is being staged for some reason. Either that or we have somebody with a sense of humour :o) I understood that the previous website(s) were a temporary measure put in place to comply with regulations until the 'official' website was completed and made good. Whether Mondays will be any better, we shall just have to wait and see! | duplicate book
12/1/2017 16:29 | And the smoking of crack must be effecting the trading as well i see. Buys of 123456 and 56789 Sells of 78910 and 111213 | lyonst5
12/1/2017 16:19 | DB, Yep splendid, super all is at hand..... They need a standing ovation for such a outstanding performance, i think they should all receive a pay rise and good slap on the back. Now then where did i put my crack pipe. | lyonst5
12/1/2017 15:54 | There you go.......see 10062 :o)) | duplicate book
12/1/2017 15:54 | Well another RNS and i don't know if laugh or cry. Well things like this can be expected when pushing the envelope of cutting edge technology like having one of these new fangle things called websites. And if we can draw parallels on how the business is run in China then i want to weep. | lyonst5
12/1/2017 10:37 | DB. Very little my above post was based on supposition and estimation. And i don't think that the board being 100% transparent here is possible but i believe the best is for shareholders piggy back on the collective greed of the board to take the growth of the company forward so then increasing all involved here's gain. I noted in the less than 24 hour old website yesterday that there was never a mention of PLC anywhere, maybe an error, though i see it as a freudian slip. | lyonst5
12/1/2017 09:27 | Below is an opinion i would like air before the forsythia trading update is released as it may force some change. Unless things change will be told in the trading update that all the forsythia was sold at generous repayment terms ie 6 months or never like last years hole in the receivables and that it will be sold below true market value as Taihua is at the mercy of the wholesale buyers as Taihua does not have the space available to store it. So i did a quick look at the all Taihua's buildings and i would say they have between 6000m and 8000m (about 2 acres) of floor space which i would say less than half is occupied by the current production facilities. By my reckoning an acre of dry floor space should easily store 1000 tons of forsythia which actually should be over 2000 tons by Taihua's own reckoning. Taihua has one of the largest combined forsythia bases in China and must have major sway in the wholesale forsythia prices in China so what is their reason for generous credit terms and selling below true market value when they have such a strong market position and abundant storage space ? | lyonst5
12/1/2017 06:52 | Well i guess we may see another RNS out today with another website,it seems the less than 24 hour old one as been taken down. The website and management of it needs to be taken out of the Chinese hands and be UK based. The current situation is boarding on surreal and Taihua will be fined or worse suspended if this charade carries on. I have spoken with the company over this issue several times over the past year about the UK website and its lack of compliance with Rule 26. I even offered to pay for a new website last year and now i am at a loss for words how unprofessional and incompetent this company can be. DB, Being taken private is a possibility, by my knowledge over 90% of the shares are in known hands but we also have a current lack of TR-1's being issued after a large amount of trades going through of late. And after a bit of investigation the company has not put out a Section 793 notice to verify the current state of the companies share register at any time in the past. We are not in any closed period to my knowledge and now we are waiting for an update on the forsythia with it being such a large part of Taihua's revenue is price sensitive. With the forsythia being sold soon after harvest in the autumn these numbers should be known by now. | lyonst5
11/1/2017 23:01 | I dont think that TAIH would be taken private, certainly not just at the moment anyway. Nick Lyth bought his holding at around the 11p mark I seem to recall, so I doubt he would be overly impressed if the Company was taken for 'peanuts', and although they may not respect us rabble too much, they may look toward Nick, and one or two of the larger holders a little differently. Are we still in a closed period? I feel there will be a bit of newsflow over the next few months which will more or less give us all a pretty good idea as to what lies ahead regarding TAIH. I think there is a little more fun and games to be played on the market front still whilst positions in the stock are sorted out too, with maybe another couple of holdings RNS to be seen. I will not be adding to my holding. I have always felt a little over exposed here, and events over the last few years have done nothing to alleviate that feeling! I do feel a lot more 'relaxed' now, and am content to sit and watch how this unfolds. | duplicate book
11/1/2017 17:20 | lyonst5 you think before new moves/money is made the company will be bought out,if so we wont see it then.My question would be at what price would we be bought out that would represent "peanuts".Holders who have held many years want out at the right price how can you hold a stock in the hope a board will share this rumoured new venture/money with you.Lets face it the board don't have any respect for us, and we are playing a guessing game. Each to their own 6p will do me just to be rid of over 8 years of hell. | oxtail2015
11/1/2017 16:39 | Time will tell, but after many years of treading water, I do feel that we are heading towards something new here. Whether that turns out to be a good thing for us remaining holders, or not, I can't say. I thought we would hear something in the New Year. Don't know if that pertains to ours, or the Chinese one! Be interesting to see if the buying continues over the next week or so. Volume tempted a few out today that is for sure. | duplicate book |
