07/2/2017 09:15 | Kaos, There is no such problem with the tender offer, it's simple you sell or hold on to your shares. The problem lies within making that decision in a vacuum of no information about the company. For example can you show me any information about the current state of the company or even more than one photo or tell me about who are new large shareholders or even who are the directors and why was the last attempt for a shareholder to visit the company refused ? | lyonst5
07/2/2017 08:12 | Is 3.3 p offer just to feed the buyer at 3.4 p (sellers gone) - we will see in the next few days- if transactions not above 3.3p the buyer is not an insider - which would be strange. | kaos3
07/2/2017 07:42 | Nothing kaos3......when you look at where the shareprice was when this buyback idea was originally put forward officially, we are somewhat in a better position, shareprice wise at least! If you are a cynical person, you would say that the 'bad' news regarding the Forsythia harvest was released in order to trim the shareprice? Inspite of an aggresive buyer in the market of late, the bid price has remained somewhat steady, but only because there have been those who have sold to more or less accommodate our buyer. Is our buyer wanting more? We shall have to wait and see. There seemed to be a limit set of around 3.5p which is higher than the tender offer, so it is obvious they arent buying to take advantage of the buyback tender. Why then are they wanting in? Will they now accept that they will have to pay a little more if they want to add. I cannot see this offer being 'snapped up' by many holders. In time, it may look like it was a great opportunity to sell a quarter of your holding, but it does not tempt me at all. I still think something is going on here that has nothing to do with Forsythia or TCMs. Not directly anyway. Only time will tell. | duplicate book
07/2/2017 07:12 | I do not understand. By theory Co thought that shares are undervalued and got cash to buy cheap shares in order to erase them. Exactly as promised. What is wrong with this suddenly? | kaos3
06/2/2017 23:26 | What on earth is going on here? | horneblower
06/2/2017 17:11 | Okay, i think us shareholders could afford that but only as far as Heathrow. | lyonst5
06/2/2017 17:07 | Go on then... I'm travelling business class and staying in 5* accommodation though :) | yobstol
06/2/2017 17:03 | Yobstol, The only way to find out is go and visit. We could all chip in and you could give us the lowdown... but you have only got 14 days left, so just time to get a visa, so get your skates on. | lyonst5
06/2/2017 16:58 | so buying just above the current offer would be a good idea? | kaos3
06/2/2017 16:57 | I think one has to question the shareholders selling up part of their stakes in the vacuum of information about the current business situation at Taihua. The Uk website is still in limp mode and no substantial update about operations as been made for quiet some time (some would say years) the last report was minimal in most regards and the only up to date stuff is in the realms of the company staff and Nomad which has not been forthcoming. | lyonst5
06/2/2017 16:52 | I certainly wont be, and I doubt any of our Board will either! Lets be honest, yes its a premium, but one decent day of buying and we will be more than 3.25p on the bid anyway! If our buyer still wants more.........? | duplicate book
06/2/2017 16:42 | Are people taking up the Tender Offer to offload some of their holding? | yobstol
06/2/2017 16:33 | sorry - I had caps lock on due to the work I am doing - not trying to shout. rude from my side. when thinking about rewriting it- I thought to myself - it is a very important ignal about value creation, keeping their promises (I still wait for the divi from old times) so I let it be. is there a Nick from nick ? (capital letters are my problem lol) about selling his shares | kaos3
06/2/2017 16:27 | Kaos, Thank you,i missed it. And no need to shout, most holders here must have 10 years worth of cobwebs and dust on them so lets keep it quiet. | lyonst5
06/2/2017 16:14 | maybe time to buy back some of those sold after the tender expires? | kaos3
06/2/2017 16:12 | SHARES WILL BE CANCELED ! | kaos3
06/2/2017 16:01 | At last and at premium of sorts. After the buyback the company will retain its percentage control so we can assume the repurchased shares will be held in treasury or Nick or Tao will sell down to re balance ? P.S. And a knowing nod to the pessimists/realists out there who said this would only happen after the forsythia update. | lyonst5
01/2/2017 06:46 | a reminder - what I invested in 10 years ago 15 Dec '06 - 10:39 - 1 of 1399 0 0 DR Mike Wyllie, a member of the Pfizer team which invented Viagra in the late 1990s, is Chief Scientific Officer at Taihua, which starts trading on Aim today at 10p. Dealers reckon the bio-pharmaceutical company which manufactures anti-cancer agents from Chinese yew trees has a bright future despite stiff competition. It achieved 2005 pretax profits of £1.2m on sales of £2.1m. | kaos3
30/1/2017 20:52 | oxtail....it is definitely not the Company buying the shares. They would have to notify the market first. I do think we will hear something regarding the buyback however, hopefully sooner rather than later! Like I mentioned previously, I dont think this buying is related to harvest figures or the like. | duplicate book
30/1/2017 20:15 | Thanks Oxtail and Tony. GLA. | horneblower
30/1/2017 18:54 | Good luck horneblower.Somebody still snapping up stock why is the poor news not putting them off?.could taih be buying the stock and not informing us just a theory, buying relentless though. | oxtail2015 |
