30/7/2015 15:52 | Hi davydoo, hmmm yes i had a wtf just when i saw the Taihua website still down. Also do you have a copy of the annual report yet in any form ? As i have been still unable to get my hands on one. | lyonst5
30/7/2015 15:34 | wtf!!! The registered office has moved from an iconic new London office development to a 3 bed semi in St Albans? | davydoo
03/7/2015 07:26 | I would also like to know why they play lip service to shareholders. They are so grateful to shareholders, yet 1. They have never rewarded shareholders with a dividend. 2. They have an out of date website with some code that displays the website has been updated on . 3. They have a Q&A section which they promised to implement but which shows no questions asked despite me asking a questions a number of times. 4. They have not given information about the new investor and his plans. 5. No information on directors up for reelection 6. No forward plans or timetable for dividend payments, I suspect they don't know how to pay dividends out to shareholders and can't be bothered to start doing so. 7. I can't see the latest Annual report where it should be either. | che7win
03/7/2015 07:09 | davydoo, Taihua is still retaining a lot of directors when the company as scaled back its production operations and sales and the forsythia side mainly involves third parties. So first question is do we need so many directors ? I think not. Then secondly yes if they are directors and that means they are in a fundamental position of steering the company, yes i would like to meet them before voting for them. The two directors up for re-election i have never met. | lyonst5
02/7/2015 16:04 | Here's a question, should a Director seeking re-election attend the company's annual general meeting, so that shareholders might meet them before deciding how to vote? | davydoo
02/7/2015 09:38 | I cant find the annual results posted on the website despite yesterday's RNS. can anyone else? | davydoo
01/7/2015 12:43 | Sadly can't make the AGM this year, but would be very grateful if someone could report back. Would love to hear their plans for all this cash... C | caney
01/7/2015 12:10 | Yes, after doubling the year before as well I think This time next year Rodney we'll be millionaires | davydoo
30/6/2015 21:33 | Am l correct in assuming that the earnings per share has doubled since the 2013 Final Results? | duplicate book
30/6/2015 21:33 | I hope we can get a few going, it might send a good message to our new exec. | davydoo
30/6/2015 21:22 | Mcfly79........ I still hold all my shares! Have been tempted of late to average down, but have held off as l just cannot see anything changing here short term. I am unable to attend the AGM through work unfortunately, and its such a long haul from up here in the North to the big smoke anyway! | duplicate book
30/6/2015 17:38 | Hi db,Yes I still hold. I haven't decided if I'm going to the AGM yet. Yourself? | mcfly79
30/6/2015 16:57 | On the subject of the AGM. The few people that have attended the past years meetings would have been very disheartened that no board representation from China has been present. Last years meeting was even bordering on surreal with the bad communications. I have pressed this point at the meetings and again this morning with Nick. I hope we can see somebody from China this year. And also as of yet Mr Yin is still keeping a very low profile, almost invisible and has not yet communicated with the company shareholders since taking his position last year. I would like to see boards approach and dealing with its mainly UK based shareholders improved and the AGM is their chance to do this. | lyonst5
30/6/2015 16:15 | Mcfly79.......do you still hold here? Will you be attending the AGM this year? | duplicate book
30/6/2015 15:39 | McFly, thank you, that does indeed appear to be the likely answer. Why the situation remains becomes the next question. | davydoo
30/6/2015 15:33 | Just spotted the results for TAIH that I used to hold until I lost patience with the BOD. It did make me laugh to read this statement from the 2015 results: "The Board of Directors would like to place on record their appreciation of investors' interest in Taihua. Whilst the forsythia business has not been as profitable as was hoped at the outset, the transition from dependence on APIs is largely complete." I thought it sounded familiar so I checked back and it is word for word the same statement from the 2014 results! This still feels like it should be a buy on the figures and cash in bank, but until the BOD decide to pay a dividend I can see the 2016/2017/2018 etc results being another cut and paste from 2014. | geofft
30/6/2015 15:27 | davydoo,I think the difference is a reclassification of the 6.7m previously shows as due to directors now shown as due to shareholders. This must relate to Prof Chen who has resigned as a director but is still a shareholder. | mcfly79
30/6/2015 14:34 | yes I will | davydoo
30/6/2015 12:58 | Davydoo.......will you be going to the AGM? | duplicate book
30/6/2015 12:19 | You are correct, needs clarification. | che7win
30/6/2015 12:12 | But that only shows an increase of 701, whereas on the balance sheet its 8001 up from 605 last time. Secondly, why would a shareholder need to lend them cash if they have all that cash already? and wouldn't it need an RNS? I might need to check AIM rules on that one. An email to Nick me thinks | davydoo
30/6/2015 12:04 | davy, the cash flow shows an increase presumably due to the same reason - did a shareholder lend them cash? Increase/(decrease) in amount due to a shareholder 701 | che7win
30/6/2015 11:45 | hmmm looking at the current liabilities (well the liabilities 6 months ago) why is approx. £800k (almost a third of the market cap) 'due to a shareholder? who and why I wonder? | davydoo
30/6/2015 10:18 | Someone just bought 90k. Itchy, we don't know what the new Chinese investor has in mind, but he could easily take it over so worth holding for upside. I would find it hard giving my shares away below 10p, this should be a really steady cash cow if they started paying out dividends. Don't understand why they appreciate us so much but don't give us a return after 7 years! davy - your idea seems too complicated for this lot, they can't / won't pay anything to shareholders. | che7win |
