27/5/2015 17:20 | db while the board are showing no sign of returning value to share holders why should you put any more money in.If nothing positive from the finals or agm then nothing will happen until next years trading update.Lets pray mr yin has not set a 10 year time frame for a return on his investment. | oxtail2015
27/5/2015 11:08 | I imagine everyone has a higher average than here, just the degree that differs. I bought a lot when our new man came on board, seemed to validate the current price at least, with what might happen as a bonus. Another year of results in the last week possible will be very discouraging though. | davydoo
27/5/2015 10:49 | Do many of the old guard still hold here? Mcfly, Old Portmuthian, JTCod and those few others from the distant past? Wonder what they think of this current situation? I'm finding it difficult to find any positives from our present malaise! I still hold all my shares, at an average somewhat higher than todays price! I just dont have the confidence to buy anymore, even at this price :o(( | duplicate book
26/5/2015 16:59 | lyonst5 we dont even know if he is going to sit on what he has got.Even if he were to say he intends to expand/drive the business forward,He would not be giving any secrets away to anyone. At least we should see better numbers in these results | oxtail2015
26/5/2015 12:21 | Thank you. Many old style investors bought taih as a value play. They even turned activist. To no avail. It is hard to invest the old ways these days. Most managements are just making fun out of the small shareholders. Investing bellow cash, no debt, market leader, high margin, tight management etc. Dustbin.Grrr | odvod
26/5/2015 12:16 | I had a quick chat with Nick last week and he said that he would like to see the results earlier than usual. Apart from that i was trying to divine from Nick what are Mr Yin's plans for Taihua. It does seem for the moment that Mr Yin is playing his cards close to his chest. I made the suggestion that it would be good for all involved that Mr Yin communicated his plans with the shareholders. | lyonst5
26/5/2015 09:48 | It was said at the last agm that the results would be out earlier this year.wonder what the chances are it will be June 30TH | oxtail2015
15/5/2015 16:44 | Well, I'm sure he's an honest man, but I would be surprised if maintaining the London listing held no attractions for him. | zangdook
15/5/2015 15:37 | well this is what was said in the december rns Mr Yin has connections with some pharmaceutical distributors in China and has been looking for an opportunity to invest in the pharmaceutical and TCM sector for some time. This represents his first step in this area. | oxtail2015
15/5/2015 09:33 | Not sure why people are talking about MBOs. I don't think Mr Yin bought in because he liked the business. Surely the listing is what caught his attention? | zangdook
14/5/2015 16:52 | davydoo it only took two buys as well. I have money to one side waiting but the harvest update has knocked the wind out my sails.Think i might wait until the finals. | oxtail2015
14/5/2015 16:48 | quipper profits/turnover are not listed in pounds sterling | oxtail2015
14/5/2015 14:20 | Just saw TAIH on the biggest gainers board and wondered what had happened, then realised it was just correcting last night's weird dip. disappointed now | davydoo
14/5/2015 10:14 | Can someone help me here. I use to hold this stock from 8p to 30p. I see todays its 2/3p. Fine, but it states they have had a turnover of 520 million and a profit of 32 million. With a market cap of 2.5 million, this must be wrong. Can anyone provide any history please? | quipper
14/5/2015 09:45 | I looked last night and thought i'd have a go this morning, but too late, serves me right for booking an 8am call | davydoo
14/5/2015 09:41 | Have you picked up some more Davy? | oxtail2015
14/5/2015 09:09 | early bird catches the worm. | davydoo
13/5/2015 21:39 | I have tried to research mbo's but not much luck not much legal/rules about. As we know the directors hold a fair bit but they are also on low wages. My last point in case...why the hell do they not pay a dividend is beyond me. | oxtail2015
13/5/2015 19:23 | oxtail..was thinking more a leveraged buy out (as the yanks would say)..there is a fair amount of enterprise value in taih...moreover, why no director buys at these beaten down prices? | tonytwotouch
13/5/2015 18:50 | The company could not afford to pay the nav.mr chen only got a slight premium when he sold. You dont have to accept the offer but it would be very hard work to track companys on goings if you did not.I don't know how rich mr yin is perhaps he could finance the money?.the company share price could tread water for years at this rate something has to be done to enhance shareholder value. They wont pay a dividend so everything rests on mr yin's plans going forward. He has contacts in the sector! lets hope he uses them. | oxtail2015
13/5/2015 16:52 | doubt it's insider driven...more like beaten down illiquid stock...if we had a MBO would have to relect NAV not the current sp,,no? | tonytwotouch
13/5/2015 16:27 | Off another 20%!! Either a large sell to go through, or we are going to hear some more sorry news shortly. What other explanation can there be for that mark down? Its not like there has been a lot of selling today. Getting serious this share performance, or lack of it!! | duplicate book |
