I’m not overly familiar with Comptel as they have not arisen in any of our telco conversations. However, we closely track the industry segment—BSS, policy and charging control, etc.--- These traditional core network services are getting virtualized and cloud-based, allowing increased agility for carriers to provide content services. The challenge for these companies to avoid further commodization is to provide 1) a complete E2E and cross-carrier solution, not component technology and 2) a rich content catalogue for their operator customers.

Syntonic provides both today---which is maybe why Comptel is not in the dialogue with our telco partners.

Now that is a great find, screams the words SYNTONIC to me, especially when you get 9 mins in. Pity about the sound quality.

Yes Dataflex is the one I'm watching out for ................ I think they'll do a software update with it first of all ............then the launch (so watching the app stores for that occurring)

Excellent news, surely T mobile and Sprint will now sign up in the US and we'll finally see the release of Tata white label. Oh and the emergence of Dataflex :)

By the end of the year everything will finally be in place for BYOD.

iOS version 2.0 released, access to 75% of the USA smartphones in place & tested.

I'm sure T-Mobile & Sprint (already a partner in somethings but we've never heard what) will want to be involved if it means more money for them.

The Lawyers will be like the guy in the film Leon where near the end he says "I said bring Everyone"

They'll be sending in clients left, right & centre to ensure they comply with the state law's, especially as there will be no excuse for not conforming to it.

No more "there's not a suitable solution out there" the judges would throw it out of court immediately.

Just look at the European predictions ...................... VODAFONE is in NEON lights ...........I'll predict it's going to be the next big name signed up .....
.....it desperately needs content.

All of this should be transformational to the share price.

Haha. Big predictions for such a small company! As much as I think our future is Freeway and adoption of OTT version if we can just announce one big Dataflex contract with an enterprise then the market will re-rate. Mr market likes a steady income stream!

Quite amazing really. I'm sure if they were US or London listed we would be at multiples of today's price. Surely iOS release brings dataflex and Tata white label revenues closer.

Yeah I've had a quick look into both previously, trying get get rev figures which proved difficult. Jana's Mcent has some impressive download stats and with some big raises must have some decent rev figures. Much of that from India, where we'll be in direct competition. I googled Aquto and Verizon in the same sentence and came up with nothing so I'm not convinced they will offer much competition. An introduction of a White label OTT app to Verizon is where the re rate starts!

Great stuff. I see the net neutrality argument has kicked off in the States. This surely is exactly what our OTT video service is for, why else the huge reduction from carriers in wholesale rates. Carriers will pay their customers subscription fee to Syntonic OTT in return for offering sponsored video content. I think we should rebrand as "the cross carrier middleman that doesn't discriminate!" Can really see why GG is so excited about potential in this area.

I can only think carriers would offer such discounts to a very select few, I mean wholesale - 70% plus !!! they can hardly be making anything from it at all, wafer thin %.

A case of someone giving them something the carrier needs in return for extra cheap data.

Yes cable company's, other Telco's (because everyone knows content is king) but also content providers (giving them the ability to reach multiple groups of people on there own terms instead of having numerous deals).

They go to Syntonic & say we want to provide this content to mobile users, Syntonic reply Yes we can reach 70%+ of USA smartphones for you plus we can reach these other markets as well if you want? You can set-up you're own offerings etc to customers.
