In addition, Dr. Kevin Packingham will be appointed to the Advisory Board. These changes will take effect on or about October 5, 2016. Steve Elfman has over 20 years’ experience working in the wireless industry and brings unparalleled knowledge in wireless infrastructure and mobile applications, holding several executive leadership positions at leading U.S. carriers. He founded and currently serves as Executive Managing Partner at Argyle Griffin Group after retiring from his six-year post as President of Network Operations and Wholesale at Sprint. Prior to joining Sprint, Elfman was Executive VP of Mobile at InfoSpace until its sale to Motricity and was Senior VP and CIO of AT&T Wireless. Elfman currently sits on the Board of Goodman Networks, Affirmed Networks, Smith Micro Software, and until recently Brite:Bill, a software company purchased by Amdocs. Chris Gabriel is based in Sydney and brings deep, hands-on experience leading international businesses in the mobile technology and telecommunications industry. As Chairman of Australian mobile technology group, Alive Mobile, Gabriel delivered a four-fold revenue increase in 12 months; and in three years as CEO at telco Zain Africa, he doubled revenue and customer numbers and more than tripled its value to $10.7 billion when sold to Bharti Airtel. His proven ability to grow companies globally comes at a pivotal time for Syntonic following its successful listing on the Australian Securities Exchange and expansion in Southeast Asia and beyond. “As we continue to ramp up expansion efforts into international markets, it’s imperative that we complement our leadership team with highly experienced mobile veterans with the industry acumen to take us to the next level,” said Gary Greenbaum, CEO and Co-Founder of Syntonic. “The addition of both Elfman and Gabriel to our Board of Directors makes a strong statement to the power of our consumer-facing and enterprise offering. We’ll immediately capitalize on more than 40 years of extensive industry experience to solidify our position as a proven leader in mobile innovation.” Steve Elfman said “My decision to join Syntonic’s Board of Directors was very deliberate, driven by my assessment of the company’s product strategy and the executive team’s long-term vision. Syntonic is well positioned to make a big impact on the way mobile data is consumed and used for business intelligence. The road ahead looks bright and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish.” Chris Gabriel said “After working in the telco and mobile industry for decades, I’ve only seen a handful of companies like Syntonic with the potential to succeed based on the widespread global impact the technology can have on massive populations of people. Syntonic is on the right track, and I’m ready to jump in on the board with strategies and ideas to help strengthen their position as a leading provider of sponsored data solutions.” Another tenured mobile professional, Dr. Kevin Packingham will join the Advisory Board of Syntonic’s U.S. subsidiary, Syntonic Wireless, Inc., to help expand Syntonic’s operator network and accelerate product development, marketing and sales. Dr. Packingham served as the Executive Vice President of Product Management for Cablevision Systems, where he managed the entire portfolio of video, broadband, voice, and wireless services. Throughout his career, Dr. Packingham has held several executive positions including, the Chief Product Officer for Samsung Telecommunications America, where he helped launch flagship products such as the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S III, and Galaxy S4. Dr. Packingham was the CEO of Amerilink Telecom Corporation and also spent over ten years at Sprint Nextel Corporation. He will be joining Rudy Gadre, John Landau, and Bill Richter as advisors. -------------------- I wonder just how high Freeway can go in the Indonesia lifestyle charts in the next few days? 9th must mean downloads somewhere in the 4 - 5,000 a day range, maybe more. Long may it continue LOTM | last of the mohicans
30/9/2016 09:07 | It's rather sad that hardly anyone on the other threads like PANR seem to be 'getting' this. Probably most UK pi's think that stocks listed on ASX are hard to trade, especially as the action happens while we're asleep. I have had no difficulty trading SYT on TD Direct although you have to fill out a compliance form online before they accept the initial order from you. | horneblower
30/9/2016 08:51 | Well, I shall keep my buy order in just in case but perhaps I shall up the limit. I must say that once you get your mind around the business concept of offering free data usage to users as a reward for downloading apps, you can see how massive this could become. It's a bit like air-miles on steroids. Will the split-billing side of the business be as big? I suspect it's going to get swamped. | horneblower
30/9/2016 08:41 | horneblower, Err everything is relative to individual circumstances, so what I'm holding might not seem much to some, but will maybe sound a lot to others. Over 2M shares or up to my eyes in it you could say. LOTM | last of the mohicans
30/9/2016 08:24 | Are you holding shedloads? | horneblower
30/9/2016 08:19 | horneblower :) You wish .................. The Yanks will be all over this like a rash on Monday & Tuesday next week. Steve Elfman former President of Sprint joins the board of a tiny USA company listed in Australia. "My decision to join Syntonic's board of directors was very deliberate ...." It will be setting of USA telco watchers alerts for sure. Oh and Tata's launch is still down for tomorrow as far as we know. LOTM | last of the mohicans
30/9/2016 07:34 | Buyers are still triumphing over sellers and 10 cents still looks like the short-term target. Charts rarely go straight, so it will not surprise me if there are some down days next week. I have a buy order in at 5 cents which may yet yield results but I shan't be too unhappy if this carries straight on upwards. Currently holding a modest 500,000 shares. | horneblower
29/9/2016 23:50 | hmm news just out Some very big names just joined the board of directors !! :) :) :) I wonder how the market will react to this news ? LOTM | last of the mohicans
29/9/2016 06:54 | My strike price of 50c was not hit. I've added volume to the charts in the header. | horneblower
28/9/2016 17:54 | Reviews have just jumped from 920 to 960 in a one-er. That's 126 for the day so far ..........OMG ........ Kaboom ...... downloads must be going crazy in Indonesia. Just imagine what it will be like when they release Freeway in other SEA country's or Latin America or Tata launch the white label version of Freeway. LOTM | last of the mohicans
28/9/2016 16:54 | All going well then looking forward to lunch iOS news will help I am placing order for top up but may wait til Friday | smokeyjo3
28/9/2016 12:51 | Horneblower you'll like it better in a months time when the ASX opens 11pm GMT. Reviews have just jumped to 920, that's 86 and counting for today. -------------------- smokeyjo3 hmm you might want to start saving pretty quick then. LOTM | last of the mohicans
28/9/2016 11:56 | Still on course for 10 cents shortly. I shall put another limit order on for tonight. | horneblower
28/9/2016 11:32 | A poor volume day, just 61.7M traded. 2 Bots had fun, a buying one competing against a capper one !! Trading range today was 5.2 to 5.8 cents, although most trading was around 5.5 - 5.6 mark. Just broken the 900 review mark, 901 compared to 834 yesterday, with plenty time for more. One of the "use based offers" yesterday was for Lazada shopping. First time we've seen one from that sector, if you look them up they are massive in SEA, in all the key countries Syntonic are targeting. One for the notebook and watch this space I think. Dropped to 24th in Indonesia & a hefty drop to 60th in Malaysia. Still need to see what the time lag is though given review wise we went 96, 77, 82, 10, 51, & are at 67 and counting for today. Still waiting on iOS version 2 news & "substantial premium content offerings" news as well. LOTM | last of the mohicans
27/9/2016 07:27 | Horneblower, Sometimes the google translations don't produce the best English !! I think they usually do send in emails if asked, back in August when error's were being reported they asked for emails etc as well, later some of the users changed there ratings of the product upwards :) Good to see them working on the 1 & 2 star submissions thou. It would be nice to get the rating back above 4 :) :) :) That's over 875M shares traded in 12 sessions !!! Today seemed to be a real battle between a capper & a buyer. Todays app placings 18th (from 17th) in Indonesia & 37th (No change) in Malaysia. LOTM | last of the mohicans
27/9/2016 07:03 | "We consider all the issues seriously and sought full so that users get the best experience Freeway." sought full? Hope we get a reply from Bobby Hindar to explain. | horneblower

26/9/2016 09:43 | oh and I should add, if this does hit 50c I will take Horneblower, Gary and LTOM out for a proper lunch!! | smokeyjo3
26/9/2016 09:41 | Welcome onboard smokeyjo3 :) :) :) Wish I could translate reviews into actual download numbers for people, but its just impossible. :( :( :( If anyone can find a way of finding this app on this website Then please let me know because it will help greatly to unlock the key to download numbers. LOTM | last of the mohicans
26/9/2016 09:29 | Hi Guys I have a pretty similar story to Gary - have followed Lotm on PANR and have respect for your views. I have looked at this SYT and bought a decent holding over the past week or so. I will watch with interest!!!! GLA | smokeyjo3
26/9/2016 09:05 | Apparently someone dumped 7 Million shares in the closing auction !! Up to 17th in Indonesia & 37th in Malaysia now. 82 reviews yesterday. LOTM | last of the mohicans
26/9/2016 07:24 | I've bought a few more. Chart still indicates 10 cents pretty quickly. | horneblower
25/9/2016 13:21 | Hi Gary :) :) Well I'm like you not IT at all I don't even have a smartphone !! However when a business cancels a A$9M fund raising ahead of relisting because it doesn't need the cash. It makes you sit up & take notice. No dilution in a hurry. Then just normal research like oil & gas or mining company's. I know I'm up to my eyes in it & will diversify over time into PANR & (ASX:MOD) and others, but the cashflow should simply be massive. Tata are running the whole show of there white label version, so no costs to Syntonic just revenue & profits (a free carry & net royalty interest in our normal language). If you're looking to buy, I would advice to hold off for at least the first 30 mins. SYT tends to be at its weakest from then on for the next 1.5 hours to 2 hours. It's a historic thing and repeats itself day after day, afternoons are usually much more positive especially the last hour. Ok it might only be 1 or 2 pips difference, but it makes a difference to the number of shares you get for X amount of cash, especially if as I believe this will go to 50 cents or more in 7 months. That translates into a lot of extra money. Yes I do think this could be the next big thing in the internet space. No advertising of the product & yet news of it spreads rapidly by virtually word of mouth alone. As the user base grows it just snowballs wider & wider. GG was in Europe last week so there maybe an announcement first thing, if he got a partnership with T-Mobile or the like. There's also another couple of news items that are due soon so hopefully none are out tonight, to make things easier for you. If you've any questions please ask & I will try & answer them, you can also get me on Hotcopper as well. Reviews are now up to 748, that's 60 so far today .................... 25/9/2016 11:48 | LOTM, From you on the PANR thread. I have ended up with a larger holding in DJI than I intended and they have done well for me. However I am currently in the mood to have a larger number of smaller positions than one large one and so wouldn't be averse to putting some in here just to balance that holding up a bit. You in particular seem very excited about this stock and nice to see horneblower here as well. You have both earnt my respect via these boards. I can understand why this tech would be desirable, like the people involved and their histories and obviously their client list is getting very impressive. Will look to pick some up tomorrow. ATB and many thanks for taking the time to reply. Gary | gary1966 |
