Appointment of a Director and Board transition
SysGroup plc (AIM:SYS), the managed IT services and cloud hosting provider, is delighted to announce the appointment of Martin Richard Audcent, aged 44, as Chief Financial Officer, with effect from 16 July 2018 replacing Julian Llewellyn who has indicated to the Board his desire to step down from his role to pursue other opportunities. Julian will step down from the Board with immediate effect but remain with the Group for a short period to execute an orderly handover.
Martin brings with him significant senior finance and operational experience. Martin is a Chartered Accountant, having qualified with PwC in 2000, and will be joining the Group from NCC Group Plc, which he joined in 2014, where he was Associate Director of Finance and Group Financial Controller. Prior to this he worked at Baker Tilly and MBL Group plc in senior finance positions.
