16/7/2003 09:30 | L2 is looking very strong with 6/7 mm's blue and the other green. 4 are on the bid and two on the offer. There was a 100k cross at the offer a while back which is positive but does indicate some sort of overhang maybe. | naught
16/7/2003 09:19 | Buying continues. 10 trades (all buys) by 9.06 a.m., more than on most days last week. Quote up 1p but offer up by 2, i.e. spread widened from 2p to 4p again this morning. This share is notable for lack of price trimming by mm's. Seem to be no 73.8p etc trades - all either 73.00 or 74.00. Presumably these observations would mean something to a professional. Can anyone enlighten, please? My own suspicion is that it may mean mm's are well tanked up with stock. Anyway, a few more hours like this and the price must surely advance again even if only because mm's won't let a profit slip through their fingers... And the fundamentals appear to support it imho. 14/7/2003 22:17 | Picked this up on a trawl round the boards and given the pe contracts may not yet be factored in.. Synstar's (SYN) specialise in desktop management, disaster recovery and network and computer maintenance. Its client list is strongly blue chip and includes Allied Irish Bank, Vodafone and Volkswagen. If the company finalisesa deal to take over a £30-40 million contract from Fujitisu, this would be its largest contract to date and significantly improve turnover. The company is in profit and profits are expected to rise 17% to £9.41 million before tax this year. At 63.5p it is valued at a historically low 16.7 times earnings. It has a strategy of selling several services to its existing, high quality customer base. DYOR Regards Andy | renda2
