I see our Market cap is now under £7m.

Don't know why Selan didn't take Synergia over in the first place, or perhaps there is is a problem with Selan.....certainly hope not.
Hopefully the upcoming presentation will clear things up.

Investor Presentation


Synergia Energy Ltd ("Synergia" or the "Company") will host an investor presentation via the digital platform Investor Meet Company on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 11.00 (BST). Management will provide an operational update.

The presentation is open to all existing and potential shareholders. Questions can be submitted pre-event via the Investor Meet Company dashboard up until 9.00 the day before the meeting.

Well, today's Annual Report was a bit subdued! I assume the main reason is the constant funding required?

It would seem the outcome is a very balanced one, with more being paid off and some converted to shares, just a shame it came before the recent rise in price and the shares have been issued at the bid price from a few days ago.

#SYN A TCM was held today to discuss the progress made on the Medway Hub Camelot CCS project work program, which is progressing well.
The Cambay PSC TCM is now scheduled for October 3rd.

If you invest on impressions you are bound to end up losing.
There was a lot of hot money/traders waiting for the GoI news that was a flop when it became apparent that there still needed to be other hoops jumped through. then we had the news the WO was not starting for a month later than the impression was given, that together with some large sells has led to the fall and as with these situations the market tends to overreact both ways.
Most believe it to be undervalued at the recent low, but many will have been sitting on their hands to see if it goes lower, when they see buyers coming in and the number of shares to buy at market down to 100k, then they all start to jump back on board.
That is what happened this morning. Personally I hope we don't see an RNS until they have actually started the first workover and I would be more happy if we got the first RNS when that workover was done and the RNS stated the result of it. They don't need to keep telling us a timeline or their plan, just execute their plan and report back to shareholders the results.

This has fallen a very long way in a short space of time giving the impression of something not being right....do you agree troutisout?
In the past an RNS has followed heavy buying I was just making that comment.
I have a decent holding here at an average price above todays price, but will continue to hold.

Perhaps it is as simple as a few investors feel this is undervalued, those waiting to see if it will go lower might now be deciding to jump aboard at this price.
After all we know they are having discussions on several fronts about now, perhaps some are just hoping to get in before any news...

We have very exciting times ahead with our new partners, money in the bank, and a number of paid for drills in a very productive area and yet our share price has halved in two months. mmmmmmmmmmmmm nothing wrong here is there?

Personally I think there has been a huge seller from when the farm out agreement went through. As that company changing news sent the price down. 10 million sell chunks have been going through for months at every opportunity. I think they are nearly finished now and we are due a re-rate. All imho

Geoff..yes that is wrong. It is 3 to 6 workovers starting in October to be completed within 6 mths and then 2 x new verticals wells and 1 X new horizontal well. All to be completed within 18 mths. So one hell of a drilling programme. Anyone selling now are seriously going to kick themselves. I've topped up at these silly prices.

The first are workovers, surely they know what the limitations/problems are with those wells and are effecting a solution to make them better producing.
