Nice location. Strange price action - no RNS or Tweet that I can see.

Those last 3 trades were me rounding up to 10M shares and bringing my average down to nearer 0.12p. This could go either way - it will probably come down to whether Roland has been painting a fair picture of where we are with the potential JV, both in terms of how close we are to an RNS and (not unrelated) whether potential partners are genuinely looking beyond our C-77H frustrations.

My irritation with that figure is that on 11/10 (IMC presentation) we were told of peak production of 350K SCF and then in the 24/10 Tweet there was talk of an improvement in gas rates, but here we are now at 150K SCF, pretty much the baseline for production without artificial lift. I get it that the well is partially depleted. This is why, if the fluid column had quickly been reduced to manageable levels, I would have been happy with only 500K SCF. Given that the fluid column seems to be heading in the right direction, it is possible that we may still get there (or even just back to 350 SCF), but I suspect that whatever SYN say something significantly better than 150K SCF will be needed to ease us into the JV - and it is the JV that is the real prize here.

Still, if anything, I will probably be buying a few more to round my holding up to 10M and lower my average a little.

Fair comment and doesn't warrant a thumbs down. My take on it is that a plug is a plug. Doesn't take much of a column of water to stop the gas flow. A stable rate with no decline of 150000 with the water plug is good and to me shows a good chance it will go significantly higher once the water plug remove imho.

Mixed bag - positive that re-installation of a bridge plug to isolate zones 1-4, which was looking inevitable, may not in fact be necessary, but that is a disappointing production level - not seeing what is going to drive it significantly higher.

Cawdor2001 - not a surprise. Even when you can see where you are going, you know the chances are that it will take longer to get there than you would like. And the market is not going to believe the JV until it sees it.

SYN X the C-77H jet pump is working reliably albeit still not fully optimised. There is an improvement in gas rates however continued water ingress from zones 1-4. We are planning the logistics for the reinsertion of a bridge plug. Cambay JV discussions are the current priority.

Has anybody thought that this guy's presentation skills and lack of personality is making the difference between getting the JV at favourable terms in a reasonable timeframe? After all if you are going to work with someone for years you would want to enjoy it. As mentioned a year ago in a different way, I can't see what SYN can offer, especially to an interested party who we now know has experience nearby; surely they would be thinking what is stopping us from buying the equity, transferring the licences and closing the company down. Maybe if we hadn't got a significant shareholder maybe they would have tried already. If a potentially interested party has some clout with the regulator and politicians I'm not sure what is stopping them.

I would always suggest listening to some presentations twice to gain clarity. I made notes on the first part the second time which resulted in several points to criticise the detail of the presentation, maybe 6 to 12 points. I'm not sure what point of it would be (though most of these points aren't mentioned on the other board, plus its worth noting the other board are largely making incorrect statements, large leaps in logic either way, ie negative or positive) as we have to wait and see what happens. The basics will be to plug zones 1 and 4, then let 5 & 6 flow. The JV talk, well my thoughts on that were mentioned a few months ago, there may be some improvement - we can perhaps see that in the detail of this presentation, but that is really something or nothing, for example did the talks restart because of the water? Did SYN contact them or vice versa? Oh, and this search for shareholder value from a JV, well does that mean the largest shareholder has been made an insider / indicated a block on a JV unless XYZ? Or does it mean the need for cash for the CEO pet projects? P
