27/2/2013 08:34 | I thought these results looked strong also, cash flow also looks impressive with EPS beating estimates. The important point is that the outlook statement for 2013 sound confident. Thanks for the offer PP, just one of those things. Never mind. ic2... | interceptor2
27/2/2013 08:29 | No worries PP. Brilliant set of results tho this morning. Very happy to hold. | cfro
27/2/2013 00:23 | Hi, Really sorry, but my meeting with Synectics Directors planned for tomorrow after the results has been cancelled by them (no reason given). I was booked in for 11:30-12:30, but they can't make it now. Never mind. I just wanted to apologise to people here who had taken the trouble to respond to my earlier post about putting forward questions. These things happen, I guess. Regards, Paul. | paulypilot
26/2/2013 16:26 | Not holding at the moment, just watching with interest. I suspect tomorrow could be a very good day here. | jakleeds

20/2/2013 18:56 | paulypilot Thank you for the kind offer On the 7th January SNX announce a cctv contract win only on their company website, but it wasn't announced via an RNS. The contract was for the huge £18 + billion GTL plant in Qatar, which covers 2.5 square kilometres. No financial details but it sounds like it offers large future potential, yet they issued an RNS for the £2.7m contract with Avon and Somerset police which they described as significant? It would be interesting to hear what they have to say about the Qatar contract. Regards ic2... | interceptor2
20/2/2013 18:07 | davebowler, thanks for the Westhouse note. PP, interesting that you are meeting management. Of course results are due on the 27th and should be good imo. I guess the only questions i have (or want to know) is their forward strategy. They are looking into oil rig security for instance. Any feedback tho is most welcome and even better if you can put a link up here or a post. | cfro
20/2/2013 17:46 | Hi, I'm meeting with Synectics management next week, on 27 Feb, for a review of the results, and detailed Q&A. So I am more than happy to ask any questions you guys would like asked. Just reply on this thread with your questions/points, and I will take them into the meeting & come back with a reply, either on this thread, or with a report on Stockopedia or my Blog (but I'll put a link to it here). I hope that is helpful. Cheers, Paul. | paulypilot
19/2/2013 09:44 | Westhouse; SYNECTICS* Buy SNX.L / 366.0p / £64.31m / TP: 450p Event: Other Indanet acquisition renegotiation of terms Synectics has announced that it is acquiring the remaining 49% of Indanet for a total consideration of 1.64m in cash. Having bought the initial 51% in July 2011 for 2m the total acquisition cost will be 3.64m. We view today's transaction positively as it removes the uncertainty as to how much Synectics would have to pay (the original terms allowed for between 1m and 8m, dependent on the level of profits in the three years to 2015). It also enables Synectics to fully integrate Indanet into the group and to sell more Synectics' branded product into Indanet's customer base in Germany and elsewhere. As with the major contract win announcement last week we expect to update our forecasts for FY2013 and FY2104, as well as introducing forecasts for FY2015 when the FY2012 results are released on 27 February. At this stage we are happy with both our 450p target price and Buy recommendation. | davebowler
19/2/2013 08:34 | Interesting news. I dont know but im assuming this will have a positive effect on earnings. Pushing sales into Germany i see as well. | cfro
19/2/2013 07:53 | More good news, I hope they forward bought the euros though. | kombimatec
15/2/2013 08:45 | Yes another good contract win with results just around the corner. I'm expecting more contracts like the Qatar GTL one in January that wasn't RNS, as the need to secure major energy plants increases after the attact in Algeria. ic2... | interceptor2
