21/6/2024 10:59 | Just noticed the new non exec appointment. Seems to have thrived at companies that either went bust or were considered by some to be frauds. Chair of the audit committee too. | arthur_lame_stocks
19/6/2024 14:14 | I suppose the late Chairman's, David Coghlan, shares are being sold for his estate. I imagine that is holding the share price back at the moment. | she-ra
18/6/2024 15:21 | There must be someone sniffing round Synectics at the moment. I think any bid would have to see an offer that begins with the number 4 to succeed. | she-ra
18/6/2024 10:00 | Thank you Chester. Good context - and undervalued by any standard, even before this win. I had a starter position, but happy to build now. | pandaball
18/6/2024 08:32 | Good points Chester. But they will likely revise their numbers post the presentation next month I think. And any likely M/A will follow that too . Not as ridiculously cheap as it was but still undervalued . No doubt Justin will pick up on this .. | ohisay
18/6/2024 08:02 | I agree but even if they don't then FY 26 at 65m gives share price 2.60 for a 8.5 PE, or 3.00 for a 9.8 PE. 50% upside minimum as they get foothold into new opportunities. | chester9
18/6/2024 07:30 | Great contract! And I don’t understand why Shore don’t update their forecast for a win of this scale and speed of completion. Surely this is too much to leave in the bag of future surprises! Any views? | pandaball
18/6/2024 07:07 | Casino Mkt in the Far East finally recovered.. | ohisay
18/6/2024 06:41 | I guess similar contracts could follow. Let's hope it's delivered successfully and is profitable. | typo56
18/6/2024 06:27 | Thats the biggest contract they've won since I bought into SNX 5 years ago . Fantastic news, Shore Capital comment .. .Synectics+ (SNX, House Stock at 176p) US$10m contract win Synectics, a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, has announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at c.US$10m to upgrade and expand the surveillance system at a major gaming resort in South-East Asia. The customer has been using Synergy since 2014 and the contract will expand and upgrade the existing system to the latest version of Synergy. We note that the contract is anticipated to commence late in FY24F with completion expected by the end of FY25F. As a consequence, we make no changes to any of our forecasts, at this stage, but would highlight there is a high degree of underpinning to both this year and next, in our view | ohisay

05/6/2024 10:13 | Looking good....... | chrisdgb
04/6/2024 06:10 | Following continued momentum in H1 2024, the Company announces that trading for the year ending 30 November 2024 ("FY 2024") remains comfortably in line with market expectations, and that the Group's cash position remains strong. Following the early delivery of a number of projects by the Group's Systems division in H1 2024, the Board expects a more evenly weighted financial performance in FY 2024 rather than being weighted to the second half of the year as previously expected and as in prior years. Synectics expects to announce its unaudited interim results for H1 2024 on Tuesday 9 July 2024. | chester9
30/4/2024 07:58 | Payment date of dividend is Friday. | ohisay
12/4/2024 15:48 | It has been a strong few days here, despite going ex-dividend; augurs well? | saucepan

28/2/2024 09:51 | c_k - I'm sorry I don't think your electronic haptic braille machine is working correctly. I said they have grown 26% | she-ra
27/2/2024 22:06 | No it's not. They have additional loans on hand. They are not investing and growing the business. | c_k
27/2/2024 13:30 | Its only £4.6 million. Its very sensible to maintain that level of cash as there will be low points that require cash for the working capital cycle. As for growth is 26% not good enough for you? | she-ra
27/2/2024 13:08 | I don't understand why they are still sitting on their cash pile - lack of drive to grow. If must be time to return it if it's not going to be invested in the business. Looks like the US litigation has been concluded with costs of just over £200k. | c_k
27/2/2024 12:04 | I think more like 300p to 350p for a takeover. | she-ra |
