This is probably about Trump and the covid cure using plasma, which has a 35% success rate, which is quite low? I mention 35% because that was what was said in the Trump meeting yesterday. Trump is trying to boost his re election chances and wants loads of successes, etc. Just another day in politics?

Did anyone else notice that over 300K of buys at a full 250 in the last 20mins of trading when the price was nowhere near that.They must be confident knowing they would be nearly 20% down at the bell. FOMO?

Don't worry about Motley Fool.

They deramped BOO in the early days and it went up 4x odd.

They deramped NCYT in the early days and it went up 4-5x odd.

Seen it all before.

I paste below my reply from the company today. Others have got similar replies. For me it is reassuring that there is apparently no negative reason for the drop today.


Thank you for your email – your support and that of the private Guild thread you moderate is much appreciated. Synairgen is aware of concerns among some retail investors following the fall in today’s share price.

The share price drop is frustrating for investors and will be in some part related to speculative media coverage (Motley Fool) among other factors. However there is no update to provide to the market at present. The plan remains to provide an update on the trial of SNG001 in COPD patients by the end of the Summer – that guidance has not changed.

Thank you for raising your concerns with Synairgen and be assured that all efforts remain focused on progressing the trial for SNG001. The Company will provide an update on material developments as they happen.

Fest, I talk from experience when I say if I were to buy with conviction, the last people I would be telling is the people on this board. It confuses me to think that you would be willing to tell others your position going into tomorrow unless you were already significantly exposed. GL none the less

Pure speculation ....but I wonder if news that the peer review is to be released shortly has leaked The peer view is either very good news or badMy money is on it being very good ...leaving punters scrambling to get back on board

Prof John Bell on Channel 4 News just said if they get a vaccine it might only work for approximately 70 per cent. Also told Boris not to just rush into it.So they need something to assist even if a vaccine is found. Doesn't mutate as quickly as flu.
