Morning,Very new here (as in yesterday new)Fantastic story for all those long-termers so congratulations to you. I'm delighted at getting in at 105 (negotiated trade placed at 0735 yesterday and not executed for almost an hour after!) some nailbiting moments there!!I would love to sit at the table and be part of a more educated, moderated discussion so, if I qualify for a coin to sit at the table Nobby I would be very grateful. Yes strange comments on the BBC article, not registered and need to see the protocol? It’s not difficult to find the trial was registered as a clinical trial and the protocol is laid out for anyone to see. Strange that someone would report it and also someone of such standing would make such ill informed comments, poor. Be interesting to see how this week plays out, more news to come if they get regulatory approval and announce the tie up with a big pharmaceutical then we are in business. Then there is the international interest, RM is going to be busy! I think yesterday is just the start and more news flow this week. Would be nice to understand the home trial progress I know it is not getting the numbers but a month in now we must be due an update.

RMC100 'what's the next big thing' that is the $6m question and one we are all asking. I think it could be Evgen, this little company has not happened yet even though they got funding from LifeArc for their SFX-01. They also plan to produce a food additive for mass consumption. Mind you they have no CEO right now, the right man could take this little minnow to the moon.

SFX-01 to be evaluated in COVID-19 trial

Evgen Pharma plc (AIM: EVG), the clinical stage drug development company, is delighted to announce participation in the recently notified funding initiative for COVID-19 clinical trials by the medical research charity, LifeArc. Under this scheme Evgen's lead product candidate, SFX-01, has been selected for evaluation in a randomised Phase II/III trial to be sponsored by the University of Dundee ("Dundee"). The trial will investigate whether SFX-01 can reduce the severity, or prevent the onset of, acute respiratory distress syndrome ("ARDS") associated with COVID-19, thus reducing the need for invasive patient ventilation and potentially improving recovery times.
