You clearly don't have a clue about the ordinal scale endpoint in the hospital study. There is multiple ways the data can be analysed and mortality is only one and definitely not the most relevant one because the number who died will be a relatively small %. I suggest you find out what you are talking about before you pronounce on a subject.

I am not clinging much on the hospital result because the likelihood is likely to show no statistical significance un the of the end point I.e mortality.

That is why they do 2 prongs study. The other one is home treatment study. I am betting on that one instead.

"Patients with moderate to severe pneumonia received 3-5 doses of IFN beta1b subcutaneously. Other drugs were also used, including hydroxychloroquine, chloroquine, lopinavir and ritonavir, anti-inflammatory drugs, and glucocorticoids."

This is a retroactive study only, and patients given it alongside hydroxychloriquine (now being dropped from trials) and Gluccorticoids, which are known to cause issues with INF.

More recently reported studies out of China and Iran, that were actual clinical studies have shown that given early, it works.

LOL there are so many holes in that study I don't know where to start. Probably the major point is that the interferon was given sc not by inhalation. That is SNG001's major advantage. But the bottom line is that this was a really poor study with so many confounding factors, interpretation of the results is nigh on impossible.

I will post the Chinese study with inhaled interferon alpha later which did show an impressive benefit albeit in an uncontrolled study.
