What you are seeing today, and for the next few days, (barring news) is the forward selling of the institutional holders at any level above 175p that they can get.They ONLY want a profit, they do not care about the prospects of SNG, and simply want to turn a margin. There is no sentiment whatsoever.Shareholders are happy to pay 200p for something that cost the supplier only 175pFinally, the institutions will let the last of their placing shares go at around 175p, but that could be several weeks in the future, if not longer.That's not me being pessimistic, it's just how capital markets work.

But it was 51p higher.... just one hour before the placing.Anyway the size of the discount is irrelevant, the share price will ALWAYS find its way daw to the placing price, or sometimes below.When I saw people saying that the share price would surge above 230 on Wednesday night, I couldn't believe the naivety I was reading.

But it wasn't really a huge discount, the share price was 150p a week ago.

Markets very buoyant today, especially all Covid stocks, which are flying, except ours.Thats what a huge discounted placing will always do.
