Those that think Johnson is doing an 'OK' job need their heads banging together.

Partisan bigots & braindead morons.

let me guess - the suckers who actually pay tax will get hammered even more, while the tax avoiders who keep their wealth offshore in tax havens will remain untouched?

Amazed anyone would vote down your votes but then many of the electorate think Johnson is doing an okay job. Either they have an incredibly low bar or it is ideological.

And if this useless, incompetent, criminal gov is throwing £100bn at a 'moonshot' testing program (they won't spend that - that's twice the defence budget! - it's crystal clear to everyone now that Johnson is just making this stuff up as he goes along, lying through his teeth), let's hope SNG make them pay handsomely for doses of SNG001!...

The second wave is almost upon us. Government will need to be seen to be doing something. And soon.

The key could well be the phrase "The mass distribution of treatments" as you say, initial comments by Friday 18th September, and they want this in place fairly soon.

Experienced researchers- have you read this Gov consultation document? I think this could be significant. The government are seeking to change the law to allow unlicensed Covid vaccines AND TREATMENTS to be distributed. They are also proposing removing civil liability to be removed for the company in case of unexpected side effects. This could speed up the mass vaccination of the UK population and no licensing requirements for SYN.

It sounds like the government are close to announcing their back room deals with the pharma companies. Consultation closes on Friday.

Here are a few relevant snips, but please read and see what you think....

It is important to emphasise, however, that although some of the measures specifically reference COVID-19 and flu vaccines, the proposed changes will also facilitate the efficient mass distribution of treatments for COVID-19, or for any other disease that poses a serious risk to public health.

This will help to give companies willing to co-operate in the sort of mass vaccination programme under consideration for COVID-19, or mass distribution of treatments in other situations, some assurance that they will not be exposed inappropriately to civil liability.
