BAD - erm what sales? |
Quite a lot of news comes up re micro plastics last few days. This one looks like it should be good for SYM's sales going forwards... |
Well this is strange one!|

Quite often management issue options at a high price just to try and convince investors they are optimistic about the company's prospects.
Most retail investors see such moves as bullish, and a benchmark for the share price to reach.
It raises expectations as people focus on the option price.
I would be more convinced if management were buying aggressively in the market at the current share price personally, options are a one way bet for them with no risk attached, unlike shareholders who risk their capital. |
Just read the BBC article on UK scientists turning "Fatbergs into Perfume" which confirms that the BioChemical Science industry is now getting better understood and recognised for the good it can do environmentally. Also I know that the major Petro-Chemical giants are looking at ways to green up their businesses, which made me particularly interested in Symphony's JV partner in India as Indorama Corporation the Singapore based parent was named 14th on last years Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list. If you then dig in to the other announcements from SYM you might understand why the management have issued options at 10p DYOR |
Could SET be one the worst performing shares despite the Boards continued optimism? Is it not time that the OAPs are retired and young blood take over. |
10p option price seems a little ambitious. These workstreams must be very value enhancing? |
ah Nasher I must have been sleeping on this - erm could we call it a deal?
Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM: SYM), the global specialist that makes plastic products smarter, safer and sustainable, announces that it has granted options over 1,000,000 ordinary 1p shares in the Company (the "Options") to a UK based company that specialises in making introductions into, and developing operational arrangements in the Middle East. The Options are being issued in lieu of cash. The Options vest only upon certain workstreams having been completed by the option holder, have an exercise price of 10p each and are valid until 31 December 2025. Following grant of the Options, the total number of options in issue by the Company is 171,141,500 representing approximately 7.6% of total issued share capital.
I wonder wwhetehr its a related party? As surely they would have to put that in the RNS. But The could have sold one of Mrs Lauriers many coats to pay for it. |
Interestingly, an RNS is posted with no comments on this blog. Does one presume that shareholders have lost interest in this company and their non performance? |
Notice of results: the share price goes up??? Quite incredible |
Roll up, roll up - for one day only the chuckle brothers are extending their run

So lets get those questions rolling in. Mine - Does Mrs Laurier need a new fur coat every year? |
Roll on 9th September then ! |
nope. Just inept management. AGM statement talked of "short term". How many months might this be before we hear any decent news. "short term" to me in that context meant a month or 2 |
What an impressive share price 2.35p |
How can a company continue being run by a Septuagenarian and an Octogenarian! Incentives should be from 10p per share not 4.5p which could be achieved with an RNS which as usual does not reach fruition. |
big incentive for Directors to get the price above 4.5 by the end of the year, overly generous and increasing Director remuneration considering the continuing perilous position of losses and size of the company. |
Wool look back the last 3 years at RNS news and they have been promising imminent news on major contracts and were still waiting |
Was expecting preliminary results today? |
Somerston increasing good to see. |
