25/11/2010 15:55 | Plenty buys flooding into SLV & JLP this afternoon, news imminent? | mrpoisson
25/11/2010 11:21 | disgraceful!!! | turbotrader2
24/11/2010 17:03 | Kooba - good luck and I think you will do very well and it shouldnt be long before your in profit. SLV is the share I worry about the least. | abudhabitrader
24/11/2010 16:08 | picked up 50k today the shares seem to have disconnected from the underlying commodity in the short term so hoping timing may be good picked up 30k aqp sub 320p too as again they seem to have had an almighty setback which seems unwarranted...oh well fingers crossed! | kooba
23/11/2010 09:12 | Turbotrader. It doesnt but work it out. All resolutions passed which means we take 100% ownership of SDO plants. Out net figure for the last qtr from the SDO plants minus the 26% was 8,758. The true SDO production figure for last quarter was 11,837. So if we do the same this quarter we would earn 11,837 oz from the SDO add on the 25% we get from CTRP and I would say 12,000 oz is bang on the money. So then spread 12,000 oz across costs and I would expect them to reduce considerably because fixed costs are spread further. So all in all next qtr update should be cracking. This is all before Lannex gets fully up to speed where we would be looking at 18,000 oz per qtr 72,000 per annum. Thats before we start motoring on any other aspects of our assets so anyone that can see further than next weeks share price can see a very profitable mid tire plat producer in the next couple of years and an share price of north of GBP 1.50p imo. | abudhabitrader
23/11/2010 07:43 | where does it say the above? | turbotrader2
23/11/2010 07:42 | great news and will be nice to see production jump 26%. 12,000 oz a quarter is very nice before Lannex come son line. Got to be a buy at these levels again LOL. | abudhabitrader
23/11/2010 07:10 | I guess thats a yes vote then!! LOL i. there were 97,107,019 proxy votes in respect of which the appointments specified that the proxy vote for the resolution; ii. there were 120,058 proxy votes in respect of which the appointments specified that the proxy vote against the resolution; | pomp circumstance
22/11/2010 12:52 | i would not go that far but looking better and thankful for small mercies ! Almost a mini triple bottom . | arja
22/11/2010 12:42 | chart is looking superb | turbotrader2
22/11/2010 10:16 | Stock on loan spike, according to dataexplorers. Seems to have dropped back though. Could it explain recent price action? | bones30
22/11/2010 10:13 | chunky buy! | stucom
22/11/2010 10:12 | Cor, that was a decent buy. | bones30
22/11/2010 02:59 | Well I would add that greater oz production leads to an overall cost reduction per oz as fixed costs are shared more widely so I would expect the fall in Platinum to be offset by SLV producing at a lower cost per oz. | abudhabitrader
21/11/2010 18:34 | Platinum prices fluctuate wildly in just a few days. However as more stringent EU emission levels for heavy duty diesel engines come into force, together with rising vehicle production in Russia(up 70%) and China, platinum could see a 20% increase in demand by 2015. These factors combined with economies of scale and greater efficiences in production by SLV, should see solid FY results in 2011 and onwards. | azalea
21/11/2010 17:28 | but platinum price has weakened recently and what effect does that have on profitability Abdulhabitrader ? | arja
21/11/2010 05:12 | So the EGM is on Tuesday the 23rd Nov which I think we will approve the share exchange to take control of 100% of SDO. So correct me if I am wrong but if we have produced a record high from SDO 8758 oz am I right in presuming this is the net figure to SLV. This would then rise through taking 100% ownership of the SDO to 11,835 for the qtr and most likely be with increases 12,000 oz per qtr. This would put us on target for 48,000 per year without the ramping up of the lannex or the future JV benefit with JLP or anything from the JV @ Everest North. Got to be a screaming buy at these levels. SLV would be on target to make over GBP 25 million a year before any further production increase. | abudhabitrader
19/11/2010 12:33 | abdulhabitrader, possibly nothing but I am just an impatient sod ! I usually trade or invest using charts and this stock looked promising from that viewpoint when I bought . I hope you are right and it has reputable directors who are prudent as some spec stocks are just set up for directors to pay themselves handsomely ( basically crooks ! ). It must be drifting down for a reason and maybe insiders know something although volume is low and it is a MM stock and subject to manipulation . anyway , I will hang on a bit longer I think ! have a nice weekend . | arja
19/11/2010 11:12 | at least working capital stands at 34.5 million which gives some comfort ! | arja
19/11/2010 11:02 | bones, go back to sleep DH !! | arja
19/11/2010 10:23 | > sorry but I hear that kind of comment quite a lot Sorry but I hear that kind of comment (FUD you seem intent on posting) quite a lot. | bones30
19/11/2010 10:08 | chartwise it might get support at 40 level or maybe 43 in UK which is lead market even though it is a MM stock ! | arja
19/11/2010 10:05 | abdul. sorry but I hear that kind of comment quite a lot and quite often a long term investment turns out to be a long term loss as share price slides and never recovers even if a company survives ( I must check out the balance sheet of this stock ! ). It is possibly falling and underperforming most stocks because the platinum price is falling I suppose and I hope that is the only or main reason! | arja |
