01/6/2010 20:43 | Moved down sharply for some reason. Looks good value again. | topvest
08/3/2010 15:00 | LTIP looks interesting. Directors have to achieve 15% growth average over 3 years to get an award. A company delivering such growth should have a P/E of 15 to 18. SWL has a P/E of 10. Looks like £2 here we come with £3 in three years time???? | roccoco
06/3/2010 17:15 | I see the Investors Chronicle recommends this as a buy and mentioned a South African contract. | roccoco
28/2/2010 16:19 | Yes, forecast 6.5p dividend this year and 8.3p next year. Looking very nice indeed. | topvest
28/2/2010 10:23 | I hear that Broker has upgraded forecast. Does anybody have new figures? | roccoco
27/2/2010 09:51 | WSE are also doing well, albeit they and Gyllenhammer don't think the Board is strong enough which is somewhat odd given the way they have turned things around. | topvest
25/2/2010 21:55 | if they achieve their Financial Objectives as outlined in last year´s Annual Report - no doubt the shares will at least double again from this level. the significant increase in dividend is a good indication that the board is keen to address the interest of shareholders while also having a strong believe in the company´s future - this can well develop into a classical "growth story". the swede gillenhammer no doubt was very clever picking 30% up at bombed out prices a couple of years ago - well done also to him, he seems to become the real winner in this! | baner
25/2/2010 19:11 | Yes, looking good. Well done Swallowfield! | topvest
25/2/2010 14:48 | 5 year high today on excellent results, found this news story from last month | miked500
12/11/2009 11:22 | Speculative Buy rating from Growth Company Investor | investinggarden
11/11/2009 07:22 | The buyer certainly paid a premium: now the marketmaker has to find the stock. Either the buyer knows something about the company or thinks they know something about the company. | roccoco
10/11/2009 19:14 | Although they are tightly held, £1.29 for 38k is quite a premium over the normal spread. Things may be looking up. | russman
06/11/2009 17:03 | I went to the AGM with my friend yesterday. Good turn out but did not see the Swedish shareholder who has 30%. Impressive management team and Chairman got a resounding round of applause on her re election. They seem to be getting an impressive list of international clients.European and chinese factories ramping up production but still plenty of spare capacity. There is a yield of over 5% and if you drop dead, because it is AIM it does not count for estate duty. There must have been 80 shareholders there, obviously a strong following. Pity shares are tightly held. | roccoco
28/10/2009 11:10 | In my local paper Wellington Weekly front page Ambitious Swallowfield set to crack United States. Plans are to be unveiled to shareholders on November the 5th annual meeting | powells workwear
01/10/2009 07:35 | I have a good friend who is close to this one. He tells me that the management is good with an innovative team. Apparently they have produced a snazzy range of cosmetics for one of the major retailers and there are many inquiries working through the pipeline. I am looking for £2.50 within 30 months. | roccoco
27/4/2009 10:19 | Slowly but Surely. | walker10
21/4/2009 23:03 | Old news I know but turnover and hopefully profits should be comeing through from this this year: SWALLOWFIELD, the Wellington-based cosmetics and toiletries company, has unveiled a new operation near Paris as part of its overseas expansion plans. The firm, which last month announced significantly improved pre-tax profits of £1.32m for the year ending June 30, has opened a new sales office close to the French capital to grow new business and develop existing business in Europe. | walker10
16/4/2009 18:39 | Cosmetics firm Swallowfield sits pretty for future It is also positioned for overseas growth by starting an operation to fill and finish cosmetics and toiletry products in the Czech Republic, and signing a strategic alliance with the Chinese toiletries company Jahwa and the Japanese investment company Kasho. "We've had some big changes and now we're growing again," says Mr Mackinnon. "We're in the right shape to succeed as a much more efficient organisation." | walker10
16/4/2009 16:02 | Arent these with a market cap of 7.65m looking good value - forcasts: 30-Jun-09 49.50 1.40 8.60p 7.4 n/a -6% 5.90p 8.5% 30-Jun-10 50.00 1.50 9.33p 6.9 0.8 +8% 6.20p 8.9% Debt low at 2.66m They are also flogging a property at bideford Devon. From the last statement: Energy costs are now coming down and will reduce costs in the second half of the current trading year. We also expect that additional business going through the Czech Republic plant in the next twelve months will improve returns from that operation. It has recently become clear that many of our customers are focussing on tight asset management and we are experiencing a reduction in orders as a consequence of the driving down of stock levels across the industry and lower consumer demand. However, our increased competiveness, together with the improved service levels, new product development and reputation for quality products has opened the door to new markets. Customer enquiries are increasing and whilst they have yet to be converted into firm orders, they are at high and encouraging levels across our product portfolio. | walker10
