28/1/2010 09:17 | ...so is this RNS a bit of a bluff then? I have some of these - but I think Mears is getting them too cheap. I wonder if I would be better off as a minority holder over the long term. Anyone any ideas. | longshanks
27/1/2010 15:38 | Hi Russman - yes that is correct. 75% for delisting (scheme of arrangement), 90% to squeeze out anyone who still wants to hold on | remi2059
24/1/2010 22:31 | Am I correct in thinking that Mears have to get to 75% in order to delist Supporta shares? | russman
19/1/2010 16:18 | Just spoke with a very nice chap at Supporta who explained that Codex, the printers who sent out the letter on their behalf, have used the wrong list of shareholders (he didn't know which company's list had been used). Codex were used at the request of Brewin Dolphin who have used them previously if that sheds any light for anyone. He's had about 50 calls about it already. | chocaholic
30/12/2009 16:44 | iii Spy - Thanks, but still none the wiser. I guess I will find out someday, not even worth the cost of a phone-call as I imagine it may have been a shell company with new shares issued on virtually nothing, if not it will be a pleasant surprise. | adventurous
27/12/2009 11:16 | They were formally Staffing Ventures plc and as far as I know they have only issued shares for two of their acquisitions; namely Parys Snowdon Payroll Services and TerraQuest Solutions. Do any of these sound familiar? | iii spy
24/12/2009 15:05 | I am in the same position - letters to both my wife and I and no clue which past dog didn't quite die. | gorse
24/12/2009 13:22 | Ring the registrar | phillis
24/12/2009 11:41 | I have just received two copies of the Recommended Offer, so I guess I must have some shares in Supporta, which I can only assume have come about from a company I invested in under a different name. Having written off many companies in the past, I cannot even guess who it might have been. I kindly ask whether anyone on this BB knows the background of Supporta and are able to tell me who that may have been. Thanks. | adventurous
23/12/2009 16:32 | We can stay loose until Allied Healthcare decide whether to bid or not | phillis
23/12/2009 08:10 | I use Barclays. I would just ring them up and ask them to send me one. Check the Mears website - it might be there | phillis
23/12/2009 08:03 | Another potential investor doing due diligence... sounds good. Phillis- where can you get a copy of the offer doc? Thanks | remi2059
22/12/2009 16:47 | and now the offer doc - in a hurry. Don't want to get gazumped | phillis
18/12/2009 08:15 | what do you know! Bingo! | phillis
23/11/2009 09:40 | This is a nice set of results in bad times and things look positive for the future...A good little company in its own right and any takeover that may be in progress will cost a bit more on the strength of these numbers- one to watch imo. | tom.b
29/10/2009 17:16 | MEARS? No bargains for weeks and then 250000 this am before the announcement | phillis
29/7/2009 13:08 | thanks for the director buy but the spread too wide | latifs100
21/7/2009 11:18 | any ideas on this.. surely at this level directors should be piling in. spread doesn't help | latifs100
29/12/2008 10:04 | any news on the bid here?????? | parvez
25/11/2008 10:27 | Pretty impressive results from Supporta Care. Large order book and hugely cash generative. No wonder a bid is in the wings. Looks to me like prudent (if expensive) steps are being taken to rationalise the business in preparation for a sale [why else close your PLC HQ?] Wouldn't be surprised to see the departing Mr Curran in the frame for buying SPS once a deal regarding Supporta Care has been agreed. | longshanks
04/9/2008 14:34 | Amazing eh Price jumps at 10.30am RNS isssued at 13.21pm | phillis
