12/12/2008 19:23 | Yes Pug it could.............. but that isn't really a big downside to were we are now. How many other companies are displaying the confidence to pay a divi like this one. Very much depends on whether you are a glass half full or a glass half empty. This is one for the real investor. If you are shorter, with this spread, and considering the recent low, on this one, your time has been and gone. | brumont
12/12/2008 14:21 | Having relooked while this might be cheap on a p/e basis there is a huge pile of debt (some £24 million worth) and Mr Market does not like highly geared companies at the moment. Could (imo & dyor) still continue to fall back towards year's low. | pugugly
29/11/2008 22:10 | Well, I've kept the few I have, & there's nothing in those results to tell me anything except they're dirt cheap! | napoleon 14th
25/11/2008 10:15 | as you say they have maintained the divi, whereas they could of cancelled it, time to buy back in soon I think | cambium
25/11/2008 09:07 | Cambium, I did check earlier and my recollection is that that is the PE on profit before amortisation, but I may be wrong. Whatever is the correct PE, it is still very low and with a divi on the currect price of 25p of 13.6%, it is a very interesting opportunity. | brumont
25/11/2008 08:34 | Is that right a PE now of 2.6 | cambium
25/11/2008 08:33 | Nam0, Yes - you are right, but as usual it was way overdone. Provided the finding could be adequately serviced, given the political imperative, it was always going to be as sure a bet as you could get. Topped up first thing with 5000, then went back and got another 5000. Thats my average now at 32p so I am very confident that between the divi and the opportunity for upward movement, this will do very well. It may well need some press comment to move it though, but with a yield like we have got, I am prepared to wait. Best Wishes | brumont
25/11/2008 08:27 | I agree Brumont, the management scared the markets with two profit warnings, but the results are sound! | nam0
25/11/2008 08:04 | Very Positive Results - neber understood why it was marked down so far, but now it deserves serious rerating - heading back up to £1, given a little time. All imo. | brumont
18/10/2008 17:07 | I believe CNA and EAGA are going to fight for this company now. It will be taken out at 50p. Both have recently shown appetite for acquisitions. | euphoric dream
25/9/2008 16:55 | ON BEHALF OF THE MD MR SMELLY WE DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT SMELLY PRICE 37P | vision88
25/9/2008 13:23 | sorry all holders, I think its game over here. Meanwhile PFLM is up 33% | asparks
25/9/2008 11:58 | JOIN "KILL THE SPREAD" CAMPAIGN FOR A MORE EFFICIENT AIM SMALL CAP MARKET WITH DIRECT MARKET ACCESS. Over One thousand people have signed our on-line petition and voted in the Poll!! If you haven't yet done so join us now!!! If you want tighter spreads on small cap AIM stocks and Direct Market Access, and small cap auctions - then join the campaign! To be presented to the CEO of the LSE Clara Furse. The campaign is gaining momentum and the press are now picking up on it..... Market makers should not be traders as well as there is a clear conflict of interests. Someone took 20p for 135k GEM when the bid was 26p - over a barrel with Market Makers the only game in town. On 10th September 450k SOLG sold at 1p when the bid was 3p. Same stock sold back into the market over next few days for 2.5p-3p Market Maker system leaves a lot ot be desired. This isn't "making an orderly market", it is profiteering. and please spread the word! | malkie
25/9/2008 11:51 | sorry!....but I'd still do as I suggest. I reckon PFLM has a long way to go (up) yet. You may recoup some of your losses | asparks
25/9/2008 11:31 | if I held here, I'd sell and invest in Powerfilm instead (PFLM) its up 25% today | asparks
25/9/2008 09:16 | It was always a one trick pony that came to the market with an over geared balance sheet. | simon gordon
25/9/2008 08:12 | Nope - they are going bust or take over at a fraction of what I paid for them | slogsweep
24/9/2008 11:30 | These look to be heading towards 80p...amazing performance in the current climate | nurdin
23/9/2008 10:39 | what a star in these torrid times..... | nurdin
22/9/2008 15:50 | Well this is looking quite positive :o) | nurdin
19/9/2008 12:11 | I bought a few here despite my concern over the balance sheet.I put it down to high operational gearing which should help accelerate earning as the market improves, which it seems is well underway following the recent Governmant initiatives.Thats my hope anyway....:o) | nurdin
14/9/2008 19:29 | got a mention in scsw | cambium |
