Also BTIG has $5 buy recommendation I.e. 65p+
And Upbeat Telegraph Report saying 18months worth of cash left...boom

I do not think they had a closing auction here.

Actually VWAP is 45.34p. There's clearly a big buyer. Most probably they loaded up more than 2.0m- 2.5m shares.

I have just noted a second 1.3m Buy at 45p value £585k clearly someone Buying at these bargain prices considering underlying value of company.I have topped up 10,000 shares today (post my earlier comments)at an average of 51p by selling my SAR & PYC shares at a small profit in order to have a small average down but no more.Hopefully there will be a share price rise in the morning.

Oversold but I'll buy more... Got 55k of these chips.

I agree with waterloo01 - Not a holder before today but I have bought at 41p. Can see rebound tomorrow as shorters look to buy back stock and investors consider the fundamentals.

What I like about the announcement is the closure they are putting under it and looking to reduce costs. If costs are cut aggressive that cash pile will provide a lot of funding for the pipeline which is left.

I have also been wondering about Prof Dame Kay's thoughts. Is the principle of utrophin modulation totally done for the poor DMD families? Or just Ezutromid? They had great work coming along in the pipeline and the early MDX mouse experiments produced far more convincing data than any of the early SRPT research.

Will SRPT pick up the EZD research for a snip and carry on funding Prof Dame Kay's utrophin modulation work?

Discuva share hoders still have a share in great antibiotic company and it’s called Summitt! Glad we at least kept that. Maybe we still have a tiny future in DMD. Would be good to hear Dame Kay’s opinion.
It’s probably a longish haul now, but have good assets and cash.

I agree with your rational waterloo01 & current share price suggests an opportunity to Buy in at these low prices.
