13/11/2007 21:55 | 1000 tons of gold?? would be considerably more than $28m. More likely, this is a much smaller ship with a few containers on it that was found while searching for the Miranda. *IF* all $28m is recovered, after costs this will barely provide for the next round of searches & hopefully recoveries. More likely, there will shortly be an announcement that SUB doesn't have the cash to complete the operation so the hat will be passed round again. I continue to watch, might be worth a buy someday but today the risk is still far too near the 100% loss mark... | jfishy
13/11/2007 20:26 | want to speculate the ships cargo anyone??? 1000 tons of gold?? | notanewmember

13/11/2007 17:29 | I'm with the doubters here ! Firstly it's 28 million dollars so only 14 million pounds ! I say "only" because the costs involved here to get it all up to the surface will be massive especially given that depth and the time it might take. Plus can you trust this lot, they'll come back to the market next week and say it wasnt a wreck after all, it was just a shoal of fish on the radar ! | 8trader
13/11/2007 17:25 | What were the insitu values of their other wrecks. I seem to remember more than £28 million? | stuart14
13/11/2007 17:05 | Estimated 28 mil booty, im sure a lot of effort will be taken to try and salavage it. | market maker2

13/11/2007 16:42 | Stuart14 - so, are you suggesting jumping ship, rather than finding yourself marooned then :) | jimibt |
