They also tipped this as a primary recommendation at 342p - just an 85% loss

Ouch that's a shocker. New to this one and l had I only had a small punt here. Is it the massively reduced dividend or the debt that crashed it so much?

So the results have crashed because of an ambitious acquisition that has cost more than expected partly because of interest rate rises. At what point did the management look at economic forecasts of interest rate rises? They announced the Billi buy in Oct 22 and raised £13M by new shares.
At least they have not tried to maintain the dividend. The proposed one will cost £2M which I guess is peanuts when debt has risen £32M.

They said debt would be 1.3x this time last year, so I don’t have a lot of faith in their forecasts. Time for heads to roll.

Beware the empire builders that rack up debt like money grows on trees....

Same old, same old.

I had been looking forward to seeing this update. I expected some weakness, but not quite such poor numbers. Especially on debt. IMO, they should have done away with the dividend and focused on debt reduction. I hope the next update is far, far better than this and I hope existing shareholders get some clear answers on the investor call later. GLA but I am not tempted to rejoin at this point.

Where will this open? 60p? 70p? 3 year plan to over 200 million looks good if it can be pulled off. Interest rates doing their job. Taking money out of the economy

Results don't look great. Dividend slashed, revenue up, but profit down..

Well that’s a pretty miserable RNS. Slower than anticipated recovery, debt way too high, dividend slashed.

Outlook will be what I am looking for.
AGM Statement was mixed.
"an improved trading performance" and "Group performance in Q2 improving versus Q1" but also said "ongoing headwinds Strix is facing"
At the capital markets day Strix are going to "provide an update on the medium-term strategy, level of net debt and progressive dividend policy going forward."

Dr Biotech. Worth another look at accrol IMO. You did well to sell when you did.
Look how the integration of the LTC and the Dale wet wipe acquisitions went and the average sales per employee as automation was completed. The drop from 70p to 20p was due to higher input prices and the price drag. Those trends are now in reverse.

FWIW I used to hold accrol but sold around 50p May 2021 (at a loss). Lost trust in the management with the profits warning and whilst I still occasionally look I haven't thought about buying back in. Never looked at the others. Good luck with them all.

My average here is about 150 after I adjust for divis. At one point it was one of my best investments, but right now its one of my worst as I have quite a lot. Trust here also needs to be rebuild. When the chinese MD sold out, we should have gone with him.

Getting back to growth will take a while. Hopefully Billi will prove to be a decent purchase

Thanks so much Darrin. Will look at these and particularly at ACCROL where you speak with some conviction. I notice it's a Tiny Titon on Stocko, which accords it good momentum but indifferent quality and value.

One screen positive, as above, the other negative - altman Z-score -short screen, "for identifying stocks that might be at risk of bankruptcy.." but I'm sure you've done your DD.

Out of these I only hold STRIX.
