Talkman - West Don 2nd production well coming on stream any time slightly behind schedule, so must be imminent. Bowmore results probably later this month. Rig mobilised to spud Al-Tayr 101, Syria, in September.

Thanks steelwatch - I had a look at the AGM presentation while awaiting the Breagh sale news but had not appreciated that Longanesi was that close to moving to the stage of exclusive negotiations. It says completion within 2009. So we could hear sale announcement once due diligence is complete and price is agreed to be followed by S&P agreement preparation and approval. Will also need Italian regulatory approval - that could take some time.

We should be getting close to TD as far as Bowmore is concerned, also news re West Don is due about now - so August could be an interesting month - fingers crossed.

According to a posting by Oiljack on IVillage (#3467)

'company is now in exclusive negotiations with a single buyer for the app 7 mmboe or 42 bcf of gas at Longanesi. If they kick in the entire San Marco Block, which I believe they will, we should see another good deal of change in the next number of weeks.'

Any body know anything more about this? Could be interesting times ahead in the near future!

Breagh - it's a bit complicated, but yes, it is US$

The licenses being sold are in respect of

blocks 42/12a & 42/13a which include the Breagh field,
blocks 42/8, 42/9 and 42/14 (all Stratic 10%),
42/10 and 42/15 (both Stratic 20%).
