13/11/2017 03:40 | Dodgy. Thanks for starting the new thred Stigologist. Winnfroth, who was so disparaging about the ability of Stratex shareholders to get Crusader canned, was very happy to criticise Hannam when he got involved with Echo Energy, but not when he got involved with Stratex. | shoggoth
12/11/2017 21:37 | I have no idea about anything. Apart from if Hannam is involved then it's worth keeping an eye on. | the stigologist
12/11/2017 21:12 | Ian Hannam ? Preston Road ? Pure Guess. | corguv
12/11/2017 20:52 | Activist investor Peter Gyllenhammar now at 8.35% - up 20m shares last week Anglogold 11.49% stake in Stratex International goes to mysterious private company Preston Road Ltd, links to British Virgin Is & Hong Kong Any idea what is going on Stig? | observer007
12/11/2017 20:48 | The Chairman of Stratex on his watch is responsible for overseeing unethical and perhaps irredeemable loans of Stratex cash to a company on the brink of insolvency. A risk that should never have been taken. Stratex shareholders interests and Stratex cash have been betrayed and mismanaged. The Chairman should go and soon. He has lost all credibility and trust. | corguv
12/11/2017 20:31 | New thread | the stigologist
12/11/2017 02:54 | But it didnt. Bob do the right thing and put Addisson out of his misery and let people with experience of success take over. Shareholders have been suffering for long enough. Give it up. | shoggoth
10/11/2017 11:21 | A new thread is the simplest. This one doesnt work. | shoggoth
10/11/2017 09:25 | Agreed Shoggoth, either a complete re-write of the Headers or maybe time for a new thread? We have reached a pivotal point in the strategic direction and development of Stratex AND hopefully we will have new visitors/posters as STI attracts some media coverage and the plot unfolds. A prominent link to newstrat.com is mandatory?!Plus reference material to TSR assets and the remaining exploration licences/results.How about it? | tightfist
09/11/2017 22:43 | Been doing some research on this Peter Gyllenhammar fellow, it says on his website that he likes to take a majority stake in his invested companies. Looks like he will continue to add then! Other searches point to him being activist and has no time for poorly performing management. He must have put in £600k for his 8.4% stake in Stratex so far. | observer007
09/11/2017 21:52 | So let's see: Stratex has no producing assets, barely any exploration assets left, uncertainty over their loans to Crusader, uncertainly over their Crusader fee commitments, an interim CEO everyone wanted out last time he had the role and a chairman that nobody trusts. Now that is what I call a company ripe for takeover and a time not to be selling!!!! | 5huu
09/11/2017 20:48 | 40,000,000 shares traded...could be the rest of the Anglogold stake being moved on | supercity
09/11/2017 15:03 | I am in no doubt something is afoot, the company is ripe for takeover, the board discredited and despised by most shareholders after recent events, only entities with vested interests voted with them at the General Meeting in my opinion. I think the hunt is on for the former Anglogold 11.49% stake, my bet it was bought to frustrate the merger with Thani, the owners may accept a fair offer for it. Mr Gyllenhammer is an activist investor, has made some impressive returns quite recently, he held 25% of Jersey Oil & Gas, bought in sub 20p and sold the entire stake at £2+ probably made £4m-£5m in the process I do wonder whether Stratex could be used as a vehicle for some entity, maybe not even sector related, who know? Not a time to be selling IMO. | tadtech
09/11/2017 14:31 | Wait and see if we can Close sometime soon above 1.4p on decent volume. | tightfist
09/11/2017 13:13 | I wonder if this share will break out of this pattern of 20% up 20% down (with a 10%/15% spread) anytime soon. I suppose you could say it's an improvement on the previous 4 years. | steve1905
09/11/2017 12:13 | Sorry, 8.2 | shortarm
09/11/2017 12:03 | 8.5p according to their business plan | shortarm
09/11/2017 12:02 | what do reckon this stock could go if they agree to thani merger? | jack eagle
09/11/2017 11:16 | Maybe it was GP's holding.....?If it was the Anglo shares surely he'd have taken the lot? | shortarm |
