15/7/2022 16:01 | And... One thing that was really useful was being to talk to their Geo for Redmoor. They let me chat to him and he explained everything he's working on (and how's he's working in it). Lots of moving parts on that project and value yet undiscovered - said he'd thought he'd found another mineshaft on site which isn't on the old maps. Lots of mineral wealth to the west of the project. | richsmithsmith
15/7/2022 15:37 | You mention timelines (and I'm guessing) but I'd say at LCCMFunding sorted in Sept/Oct. 3 in data room... Work being done in the mean time on site. Waste removed Oct/Nov. Leach pads loaded Nov/Dec.First payment Jan. Add that to the increase in price from Cobre (news expected next week) we're looking at a $1M a month coming in. I get that copper is low at the minute but the supply crunch hasn't gone away. V happy to add and hold at these levels. | richsmithsmith
15/7/2022 15:30 | Thanks for sharing that update Rich. Given that we're at £5.5m mcap and that's exactly the same valuation before we had news of: - 5yr extension at Cobre and price rises to come in - Redmoor licence extended to 2037 - LCCM PEPR in for oxides. Sulphides to follow in time to mine Particularly LCCM. It was cited as a game changer by everybody yet you can still buy at the same price as you could before the news. I realise markets are dreadful atm especially commodity markets but at least SML are in the position of having cashflow to cover most overheads while the other projects slowly progress. I think there's great value here but it really might take a while to play out. | gb904150
15/7/2022 15:02 | I was at the AGM last week. These are my notes .. This is my interpretation... usual caveats apply. Please don't quote me.LC. Pepr in for oxide. Working on Pepr for Sulphide part (won't be an issue, needed as process slightly different). The board understand that the Pepr took longer than expected to recieve (lack of staff at the DEM) and ensured us they did everything they could to get it (got the impression some v senior people in Government were talked to). Milestones will be- finance (3 parties in data room... don't know who but are serious). At least one party totally gets what SML are trying to do.- remove dirt takes 6 weeks. - dig oxide and process takes 3 months. - customer pays 85% of LME price (no extra shipping or processing costs)Sulphide is suspected under the oxide... a hole from 1970ish showed 1.5% Cu at 150 meters (the Geo was smiling at this big time). There are sulphides to the east and west (and v large copper mines) and its suspected it runs underneath the property. Game changer if so, got the feeling they know where to drill. There are other projects on the property. Team at LC has used the time to prepare the site. They have been busy.Redmoor. Lots of soil samples done. Paid for by DDC. Geo knows whats what (got the impression he's build on Brett/James knowledge) and is the kind of chap whod happily explain for hours about the geology of the area. The soil samples and gravity machine has showed him where to drill - he's confident and very very excited about the prospects of Redmoor and that the contained resource will grow considerably. Talks of using technology on site... drones to map the area and even speciality drones to fly down the old mine shafts to map them (they keep finding mine shafts which aren't on the victorian maps). Goodwill with the community, local people are welcoming. Talking to local MPs. Goodwill with the other projects in Cornwall, sharing resources and techniques (mud maps and trench techniques). Our geo holds a senior position at the DDC board and influential in the national and local mining industry.Cobre. Price increase of 20%. Some of this is in now some in two stages of 10% and an other 10% in a couple of months. 5 year licence gives lots more options and negotiating power when talking to new customers. News due next week. Claim ongoing. | richsmithsmith
